Such a great spot. Service was super quick and honestly amazing. Everyone was friendly and on top of everything.
The food was great and seriously delicious. Everything tasted fresh and full of flavor. You can tell they care about what they’re serving.
Also, tons of parking which is always a win.

Such a wonderful experience. Service: We were served by Pimpilaiwan. She was awesome. Very careful about my boyfriend’s gluten free issues. Food: it’s the best Thai restaurant that I have been to in Canada! We had coconut soup, deep-fried bananas, pad keep mao and pad see ew. Absolutely delicious!! Cleanliness: it’s a clean restaurant and I give it 10/10.

The food was delicious and thoughtfully presented. The appetizers came out fresh and crispy, especially the spring rolls and the beautifully carved fruit garnishes that showed real attention to detail. The mains were flavourful with a nice balance of spice, sweetness, and richness. The noodle dishes, stir-fries, and curries had generous portions and great texture. Even the fries and dipping sauce were a standout — perfectly crispy and seasoned really well.
The drinks were refreshing, and the desserts were colourful and visually impressive. I do wish some of the dishes were seasoned a bit more, but overall everything still tasted enjoyable and satisfying.
The only downside was that the service was a bit slow, especially considering how busy the restaurant got. The staff were friendly and polite, but there were moments where we had to wait longer than expected. Still, when they did come around, they were helpful and welcoming, which made up for it.
Overall, Thairoomgrand is definitely worth visiting for its tasty dishes, eye-catching presentation, and beautiful ambiance. Perfect for date nights, group dinners, or anyone who loves Thai food that looks as good as it tastes. I’d happily come back again.

Definitely a place to visit for sure. Love the vibes and ambience. Do try their royal pineapple fried rice along with grand appetizer platter. The pineapple bowl looked fresh and vibrant. The platter was well thought out and offered variety with green mango salad, crispy tofu, spring rolls, and veggie roll. The flavours stay rich and authentic. A perfect choice if you want to enjoy Thai cuisine and vegetarian options. Mocktail were a solid then on 10 – Shirley Temple and Mango Mint.

Pad kee Mao was good although Jatjujak pad thai is better.
Overall 5 stars, ambience, interior decoration and the CLEANLINESS of this place is SUPERB. It felt really clean, I was very impressed.

Had an amazing experience at Thai Room. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a great vibe! Paul and Yong were incredibly friendly and attentive. Our food arrived quick, and every dish was absolutely delicious fresh, flavorful, and authentic. Highly recommend this place for a great dining experience! Tried their pad see ew, malay curry, Thai matcha iced tea and mango stickey rice.

We had no reservations on valentines and walked in as it was my moms birthday. She wanted to try it unexpectedly. They made room and were excellent. All the servers are helpful and patient. They even treat you with a rose on on valentines. First time there and I will be back.

This is the best thai food I’ve had in a long time! We’ve recently moved to Durham region and discovered this restaurant by chance while looking for thai takeout one night. We ordered pad thai and pad see ew and both were delicious. We tried many thai restaurants in midtown Toronto over many years, and this place beat them all.
We decided to dine in this time and had a great experience. The atmosphere was very pleasant, and the decor is beautiful. The staff were very friendly and attentive, and our food arrived promptly. I ordered a desert with ice cream to go, and our waitress was very accomodating to put the ice cream in a separate container so that it wouldn’t melt by the time we got home.
As always, the food was superb. We also ordered calamari as a starter, and two cocktails and neither one disappointed. Will definitely return again!

Very calm ambiance. Servers were very polite. They took care of our vegetarian options and ensured the oils were vegetarian too. Their green curry which came with rice was full of flavors that we could not stop eating. The pad thai which came with roasted cashews was a bit sweet and nice, the mango salad that came with tamarind sauce was superb.. their spring rolls were a bit oily but that’s the point of fried food.. truly enjoyed. Definitely going back again to try their other vegetarian options.
