The service was excellent with the staff being very friendly and attentive. Keeping in mind a buffet style, the food was good with plenty of choice to keep you going back for more. I enjoyed the relaxed self service atmosphere. I always feel the service charge should be optional and to already include this on the bill was a bit disappointing as a leaving gift.

Very disappointing
Hardly any food options, mostly vegetables and barely any meat. The beef was greasy and swimming in oil. Desserts were just a couple of plain cakes and some watery “ice cream.” Even the Fanta was just fizzy water. Definitely not worth £22 per person.

The food was good and I ordered a bangkok blast which tasted amazing. I couldn’t finish I all due to me being a light weight but glad I ordered it. My friends had milk teas that weren’t so good but they refunded them for us so their may have been a problem. All the staff were great very polite and helped when we needed it. The only thing I didn’t enjoy was the jelly. It was a little too hard. Overall we enjoyed our day. So thank you Ja and dorris

Decent food. For an all you can eat restaurant in this economy it was very good. Ja served us and he was absolutely lovely. Id happily have him in my house. So polite, just the right amount of attention. Very impressed. Place looked and felt clean.

I’ve been here a few times over the years and it’s fine if you just want quantity over quality. It’s a buffet so if you are after Michelin star food then you’ll leave disappointed.

This is my first time visiting since it’s been renamed to Thaikhun though.

The food itself is fine….but not WOW! Think takeaway quality and you won’t go far wrong. That’s why I think 4* is the right rating when I consider the quality of the food and the price.

My favourites are the noodle soup that’s freshly made at the far left of the serving area. And the Black Pepper Pork. The rest are OK.

The desserts are a bit limiting if you don’t like fruit, luckily I do. And my favourite was there, water melon. Kids will be fine with a pick & mix station with I think three choices and an ice cream machine.

The service was lovely, all the staff were friendly and you were greeted with big smiles each time you interacted with them. They really wanted to serve/help you.

The other thing I want to quickly mention is the decor. Before they restyled it to be a bit more ‘authentic’ it was a bit bland but comfortable. Now it’s a bit more ‘exciting’ but they’ve replaced perfectly good chairs with really uncomfortable wooden chairs so it fits the vibe better. I get it…but maybe I’m too old, I want my bum to be comfortable when I’m sat down.

My main concern really is the price. I get nowadays everything is expensive but I feel that £22 per person is too high for the quality of the food you ultimately get. Even if you try really hard, I can’t imagine many people could eat £22 worth of food.

We were served by Doris today for a meal celebrating our son Lane’s 8th birthday. Doris was super attentive and lovely, and helped to make the celebration special. Great food and service as always.

Looks good from the outside, with great street food decorations but sadly the food was extremely disappointing.
The jasmine rice is cooked in a rice cooker and had a stodgy consistency, too much water used. The egg fried rice was similar and looked as if the fried egg was dropped in after the rice had been cooked. All the noodle dishes tasted the same. Unfortunately didn’t enjoy it at all.
The positive food item with texture and taste was freshly prepared soup which was made to order.
£19.99 per person for an very limited selection is, in my opinion expensive. Two bottomless soft drinks were £4.50 each.
Service wasn’t bad.
Prior to us three couples left after waiting in line for a table. It was busy but the end product was disappointing for me.
If you’re hungry, it’ll do but that’s about it.
