Wow. Wow. Wow. I haven’t had sushi this good in a while. We had the New Style Sashimi, which was so fresh and came over a delicious sauce. My husband and I were eating it and telling ourselves how good life is. Also got the Naked Salmon roll and the Super Charger roll and loved both of them. The sake flight was fun – coconut was the best. And to top it off, the service was excellent even though they had a packed house. We will be back!!!

We had a party of 2 for dinner on 12/20/25 at 7:30 pm. We were seated right away! Service was quick!

We split everything. Here’s what we got: Grand Slam ($16.95), Sea Breeze ($18.95), Hippie Roll ($18.95), and a special roll. Everything tasted fine, but the rolls that had tempura flakes in them were overloaded tempura flakes. The first few chews felt like I was chewing sand. Once I got past that though, it tasted good!

Parking might be a little bit hard to get to around this restaurant. So you may want to go park in the parking spaces near Marietta Square market. But I can tell you that the trouble is worth it because the food is amazing. The sushi is fresh and well-made. Clean bathrooms and accommodating staff. Will definitely be coming back for more family dinners!

My husband and I used to enjoy coming here several years ago. We haven’t been in YEARS and he was craving their food so we decided to make the 45 min trek for a date night:

Sadly I feel the prices have gone up and the quality has gone down and it’s now nowhere near worth it for their hot dishes. I cannot comment on the sushi as we didn’t have any this time. But they charge $20+ for broccoli with beef and the beef was dry and tough. My husband got cashew nut chicken and the chicken was dry. Typically with these Asian dishes at most places the meat is very tender. I could go to some home in the wall and get broccoli beef for $12 and it be way more tender than this was. Sadly I doubt we will be back.

The only place in a 25 mile radius we consider for date night sushi. Always fresh, fast and deliciously tender! Best warm sake!

Enjoyed a family “date night” tonight at Thaicoon. Arrived just as they opened for dinner and we were seated and served immediately. Took advantage of the sushi and the Thai menu and appreciated the sake recommendations from our server. Great food and great experience overall.

This was our first visit to Thaicoon & Sushi Bar restaurant. The food was delicious. It was Mother’s Day, so we had a 35 minute wait to get seated, another 25 minutes to place the order, and then the meal was provided in 15 minutes. Regardless of the holiday, this amazing restaurant was well understaffed. The employees are friendly and attentive as they can possibly be.

My dining experience here was absolutely incredible. This is my second time ever eating Thai food, and they have won a customer at this location. For starters, the restaurant is cute, has a “home”y atmosphere, and is clean. We ordered sushi along with Tom Kha Gai and it tasted so good. I’m not normally a person who enjoys spicy food either and I will be ordering that soup again. Our service was also superb. From the moment we walked in we were greeted, and our waitress made our dining a pleasant one. My new go-to spot on the Marietta Square!

Used to love Thaicoon but the quality of their take out food is progressively deteriorating. We ordered pad thai last couple of times, waited for an hour to pick up and asked for extra sauce (which we were charged extra for?!), but we keep we getting dry noodles with barely any flavor. It’s disappointing especially when you’re spending $20+ on a dish. This is likely the last time we’ll ever go here. There are many other significantly better thai restaurants in the area for takeout. Thank you for your attention to this matter!
