The steak is tough and the cheesy penne is a bit too sweet for my liking, but it’s probably their menu item meant for kids (I can see my young goddaughter loving this). Calamari is soft but the breading could be lighter.
Staff is attentive and friendly, the food took quite a while but it’s understandable considering how much we ordered.
Ambiance in the restaurant is good, could just use a bit of editing so the look throughout the restaurant is more cohesive 🙂
SERVICE – Considering there were very few customers when we arrived, the orders took long to complete. Please remove the self-service water station by the entrance because it makes the cafe look like a canteen/carinderia. Just put a pitcher with ice on the counter near the cake display and let the customers get one if you really dislike serving water to your customers.
ATMOSPHERE – you need to have a better arrangement for your chairs and table. They looked like they were placed there randomly without care and with disregard to aesthetic. The beautiful ornaments and displays will not salvage the overall looks of the cafe if the overall set-up is not complementing each other.
The place has great potential, but I hope the management would really pay close attention to the small details because the “Thai” theme of the cafe is not reaching its full potential. I can feel the passion of whoever thought of the Thai theme, but it’s making me sad that the overall aesthetic of the place is getting watered down by the clashing of certain elements like the chairs and table not being positioned well.
The food is fine – well plated but not that enticing. The steak is rubbery and a bit burnt thus the bitter taste; their thai pasta – which they claimed as one of the best sellers – tastes blunt; and their coffees are i think too pricy for its average blend.
The carbonara is creamy and delicious and a must try is their cheesy spinach pizza.
The waiters aren’t that attentive too and missed out some of our orders. They didn’t even bother remove empty/used plates to give table space for orders yet to be served.
The Oreo Frap is OK as well, but a bit pricey.
