Tom yum soup was thick, very flavorful, and I was pleasantly surprised that there were ~6 shrimps in the small bowl.
Pad Thai was flavorful, but the portion is quite small for the price.
Curry fried rice was good flavors, and the portion was good.
Overall the food was tasty, the cooking was fast, however, the good things were not worth everything else that were not good. No water was offered, you can buy bottled water for $1.5. The place is not exactly clean and the service was just acceptable – so dine-in is not pleasant. The portion of the food isn’t exactly good value for the price – so take-out is a just ok option.
Just don’t forget, they accept only cash and service is OK. Don’t recommend big groups as it gets crammed
I dined at this restaurant today and was shocked by the unsafe and unhealthy environment.
1. Pest issue: I saw two cockroaches inside the dining area. One was crawling on the wall next to the table, and another was running across an empty table. A male waiter killed the one on the table with napkins but did not sanitize the table afterward, nor did he wash or change his gloves before continuing to serve customers.
2. Food safety concern: The lack of proper sanitization after handling pests raises serious hygiene risks.
3. Service issues: A female staff member behaved unprofessionally. She threw dishes onto our table and gave us hostile looks after we pointed out the cockroach problem. Her behavior came across as rude and discriminatory.
4. Food quality: The food itself was poor in taste and quality.
If you want to have eat food that might be the left over by cockroaches, go for it!!!!
It’s fast-paced street food. Restaurant prices with fast-food service. NOTE: They only take cash, so make sure you stop by the ATM before you pickup or dine-in. If you are looking for the true experience, sit at the “bar top” and be right next to the cook!
Parking is on the street, and it’s gonna be tough to find something on the Ave, so expect to walk a couple of blocks. The restaurant is a tight galley style space so expect a shoulder to shoulder experience. And you will definitely smell of the food.
Food is consistent, and know they may run out of popular items like the fried rolls. Everything they pump out is good, with the spicy kick (or no spice) you ask for. The portions are good for the Seattle prices.
Midas 5-stars for the food and street food experience.
