Any curry that comes out with one spoon of sauce on it, is not a curry! I had to ask for more, which they had to cook, which showed me they had ran out. Once I tried the sauce it was so watery, not thick like a penang is supposed to be.
Really don’t reccomend, and can’t understand the high ratings! Go to hug street nearby for good Thai food, not watery curries here.
Very sweet waitress there and really nice atmosphere. We came here twice! We really liked it there ☺️ so big recommendations for this restaurant!
I started off with the papaya salad, a classic Thai dish that’s not for the faint of heart. The salad was a fiery blend of shredded papaya, tomatoes, green beans, and chili peppers, all dressed in a tangy lime dressing. The heat was intense, but so addictive that I couldn’t help but go back for more.
Next up was the pork satay, which arrived on a sizzling hot plate, the meat seared to perfection and served with a creamy peanut sauce. The combination of smoky charred meat and nutty sauce was pure magic, and I found myself licking my fingers clean.
For the main course, I opted for the pad sew ew with shrimp and beef, a stir-fry of thick rice noodles, tender slices of beef, plump shrimp, and crisp vegetables. The dish was well-balanced, with just the right amount of sweetness and saltiness, and I loved the smoky flavor that came from the high heat of the wok.
And of course, I couldn’t leave without trying the pad thai with chicken and shrimp, a Thai classic that’s always a crowd-pleaser. The noodles were perfectly cooked, and the sweet and savory sauce was addictive. The dish was topped with a generous amount of chicken and shrimp, and I loved the contrast between the tender meat and the crunchy peanuts and bean sprouts.
Overall, my meal at Thai Thai Restaurant was an explosion of flavors and textures, and I left feeling full, satisfied, and eager to return. If you’re a fan of authentic Thai cuisine, this is definitely a spot worth checking out.
