This spacious, relaxed eatery offers a wide variety of authentic Thai fare, both spicy & mild.

My husband and I came here for Valentine’s Day today, and had a great experience, as always. We got the Lobster, shrimp, and scallop prik khing special, and pad see ewe for our late lunch, and then some other dishes to take home for the rest of the weekend since we live about an hour away. We took home a Thai salad, pad ped nor mai, and mango and sticky rice. Everything is always so good and fresh! Spice level is always on point to what we order, and the service is excellent. They are very helpful with suggestions on how to order things if you are a picky eater like me. We love the peanut salad dressing, and the dishes are very well balanced with lots of fresh veggies. If you are a middle of the day diner like we are, note that they close between 3pm and 4:30pm each day.

One of my favorite places to eat! The atmosphere is lovely the wait staff is very attentive caring and they always remember you. The cook personality brings you your food which is amazing. Prices are also very good. Portions are large. Ten out of ten definitely worth every penny. Pics are Drunken Noodles and Chicken with snow peas

You Need To Know? Arrived around 5:00 & we were seated immediately. The atmosphere was very quiet & nice. Service was extremely polite & fast. Food came out quickly. The peanut sauces & multiple flavors stuck with ya all night long! Worth a try for sure. Now You Know!

This place was amazing. We stopped on a road trip back from Quebec to coastal South Carolina. I was excited to see there was a Thai restaurant in town. I ordered enough to eat leftovers for awhile. The woman working there recommended the tom kha gai soup. It was SO delicious.Even my picky teen liked it. I just wish this place was local to where I live.

My husband and I have been customers of Thai Thai for many years; very occasional for dine-in, quite often for take-out. The quality of the food has always been, and continues to be, outstanding. I am reviewing now after never reviewing before, because last night we got our usual order, and while the price has continued to go up, and the meal portion size was much smaller than we have ever received. The take-out containers were not even full, and the portion of meat in the meals was much less overall. We are extremely disappointed with this most recent experience, to the point where we are considering not ever ordering from Thai Thai again. We understanding prices are up all over the place (and continue to rise), but we feel that we have been taken advantage of. Buyer beware.

I mentioned my boyfriend’s birthday and they just smiled. Before we left, they shut the lights off and had great music playing as they sang a birthday song to him! All dishes, sides, desserts and individual personalities were amazing!

So glad I found this place. The food was delicious, the staff were more than attentive and helpful with navigating allergies and the prices and portions were spot on. This is definitely a thai place I’d return to. They also have a cute happy birthday song for birthday celebrations that reminded me of Thai Rak Thai in Scranton. Thai Thai in Wilkes-Barre has dine-in and take-out service with a very extensive menu.
What was ordered:
1. Appetizer special with thai spring rolls, little mermaid (fried shrimp), curry puffs, and thai dumplings
2. #39 pad pak with duck meat and rice (chicken, beef or shrimp are normal options)
3. cashew nut chicken with rice
4. sticky rice with mango dessert
(FYI, I liked the rice and mango separately, but not together as a dessert.)

The interior design of the restaurant is very beautiful and it feels like a fine dining establishment. Staff were friendly upon our entry but then it took them awhile to take our order and we could see them just standing around. We got the gold triangles which were tofu and went well with the dipping sauce. I got the vegetarian red curry and the other person got the vegetarian kra pow. They did ask us if we wanted them to use fish sauce with it and we declined. I have never been asked that before when ordering curry, so I appreciated that. I thought that the food was good, I was so hungry I ate all of it. But I felt as though there is a different Thai restaurant I prefer. Also the street parking was a bit of a hassle but we made it work. Overall I would recommend this place for the Wilkes Barre area since my favorite one is in Scranton.

I didn’t like their chicken wings, I expected the wings to be extra crispy not drenched in their sauce based of my personal experience I let the manager know because I asked to do so. She then followed up by letting me know her business policy was no returns. Then she asked me if I was from “New York” which made me feel uncomfortable and opened up on her personal experience on counters like the one I had today at her restaurant. Which was pretty much summed up as don’t come again if you didn’t like it. I ended up leaving that place with a bad experience. Never again she did offer me a mango drink, I passed on the offer. Because my complaint was not focused on the drink. I enjoyed the drink very much.
The drunken noodles were very greasy. Btw
