While the atmosphere is stunning and the service is great, the food unfortunately lacked the depth and seasoning I expected. Compared to the authentic Thai spots I’ve visited in Dallas, the flavors here felt muted and bland. If you’re looking for a beautiful dining aesthetic, this is the place; however, as someone who prioritizes authentic quality over decor, I was disappointed even though I saw good reviews before I went. I now understand the 1 star reviews. I’d love to see more bold, traditional seasoning to match the high-end environment.

I was excited to try this place bc i recently moved into a salon suite nearby and i love Thai food. The green curry was like a paste, it was so thick and so bad we couldn’t eat it, and that’s pretty impressive considering my husband will eat literally anything. The food was untouched, and the waitress asked if we needed a to go box and I said no thanks, she didn’t ask if we liked it or anythin which was so obvious that we didn’t. My husbands food was better but still very bland. I am Thai and have grown up drinking Thai tea and the one I ordered here was awful, I didn’t drink it either. So to spend $60 on lunch (which was super small portions anyway) and not liking it really sucked.

Very friendly staff and nice peaceful place to have a lunch with family. Small menu but taste wise was very good, I just felt the quantity was a bit less but over all good. Basil fried rice and red curry was good.

My go-to order is Pad Woo Sen with beef; spice level 2; and a classic milk tea. It’s my comfort food and they make it perfectly. I’ve always wanted to try their vast tea menu; but nervous to possibly get something I wouldn’t like. For my birthday my son worked with the team to order 12 varieties of tea, most with different boba toppings. We had a great time trying new things in a smaller size cup my son brought in and the team was awesome working with the “try new things!” goal. My new favorite will be the honeydew melon milk tea with tapioca! It was amazing. I am so grateful that they helped us have this wonderful experience for my birthday with my son.

Update a year later:
It has not changed much since the last time I was here. It’s still pretty overpriced for food here sushi was 7.99 for 8 little tiny pieces. My ticket totaled a little over $15 for two items. The taro milk tea was pretty good this time. Other than that the sushi was kind of mediocre at best. It had more of a gingery taste to it or something that was not fresh. A fresh piece of sashimi has no flavor except a buttery finish. The sushi kind of tasted like it had been marinated in something to keep it preserved. I probably wouldn’t come here for sushi, but the drinks are okay.

I came here despite the ratings. Here’s my honesty in a paragraph.
The strawberry milk tea was very watered down. It kept separating and tasted pretty unappealing. Very little sweetness because of the lack of milk. The sesame chicken wasn’t bad. It had a decent flavor but was a tad on the salty side. It was incredibly hot however, and burnt my tongue. I did like that the breading wasn’t too heavy and you could taste the chicken. The chicken was a little chewy. It came with a decent amount of rice. The pho had a nice flavor of five spice. I didn’t try the green curry but my nephew said it was tasty, but spicy. The women’s bathroom was out of order, along with the soda fountain. Overall this was an okay experience. The women behind the counter were really nice and allowed my family to move chairs around so my sibling could borrow the wall outlet for her oxygen. I recommend the sesame chicken and pho. But not the milk teas.

We stopped and ate at this place before we went to see a hockey game and we will definitely be back. The young lady at the counter was so very nice and explained what they were and what they served. She gave a recommendation and we went for it and it was so good. On the spice level we went with a 1 and I’m glad because that was just hot enough. We will be back soon to eat and the portions they serve will definitely fill you up. They serve coke and that is always a bonus for me. So give them a try and I know that you will be glad you did.

Thai Box is one of my favorite spots! The food is always amazing — not just the Thai dishes, but also their sushi and pho, which are all delicious and up to my standards. The atmosphere is chill, the service is excellent, and the best part is how consistent everything is every time I go. Highly recommend!

Worse Pad Thai I’ve ever had. Greasy, runny sauce, very little meat and vegetables and very salty. It was almost all noodles, which were very skinny. I was really looking forward to some good Pad Thai. This was not worth the calories. I left most of it uneaten. The place was empty and no one came in while I was there. That should have been my first clue.
