Although I have yet to order anything from another food cart than my favorite at this particular pod (Le Bistro Montage), my wife is quite a bit more adventurous, and went with the Tom Kha soup (chicken, spicy), and some salad rolls. While she remarked that the salad rolls were a little bland and uninspired, the Tom Kha was a hit with her…for the most part.

Although I stated that our order was “for here”, we were given “to go” packaging. For the salad rolls, this was fine, as they were easy to unwrap and dig in to. The Tom Kha suffered a little bit from this, because the real meat of the dish (including the meat, of course) had mostly settled to the bottom. It was still good, but not nearly as good as the leftovers were on re-heat, when everything was mixed in correct proportion in a proper bowl. Then, the dish really started to shine, and made my wife even happier, which is always a good thing!

Her order came faster than mine did, so no complaints about the speed of prep and delivery, and the price was quite reasonable, even compared to other carts at Oak Tree Station. Service was friendly and patient, especially when I had to call my wife (who was watching the kiddos) to confirm which protein and spice level she wanted, which took a hot minute.

As far as Thai food carts go, this one may be called Thai Sunflowers, but in our experience, (almost) everything is coming up roses!

The people working there are nice and the food is very tasty. I was there late the other night and ordered pad Thai and Pat say you. They accommodated my different level of spice for each dish. They also helped me figure out my Apple Pay as I had forgot my wallet at home.

I called to place a pick up order. When I arrived at the food cart they told me they didn’t have my order and that their “phone’s weren’t working” so they took my order again and I went on my way. Well about 50 mins later they call me and said “ you haven’t picked up your order” I asked is this the camas location and he said yes and I told him the story above to which he proceeded to tell me “ to never call again” highly rude. Then they texted me after stating that I was a no call no pick up. I will never return!

Was able to order pretty fast. I got steamed vegetables with chicken.
Everything was not seasoned. Plain, dry boiled chicken. The vegetables were what they were I supposed; steamed vegetables. All that’s served as sauce is peanut sauce. When I took out some of the vegetables and chicken, I realized all the weight of the box is rice!

This was my first time here and I’m disappointed. Their other food may be good, but after having this, I’m hesitant on trying it again. Was definitely not worth price considering I mostly paid for rice and unseasoned food.

I visited to Oak Tree station food cart the other day and Thai sunflower caught my eye. I got Pad Thai with chicken and fried banana. Pad Thai was very flavorful and tasted really really good and the fried banana was also very crunchy and sweet and the chocolate syrup on top was a bonus. I would definitely come back to try another menu as well.

The Pad See Ew (with chicken) was delicious and the portion size was big enough to share. I had enough leftover for another meal. The veggie egg-rolls were also tasty (but clearly not made in house) and they give you 5 of them, so again shareable. Overall because of shareable portion sizes this makes Thai Sunflower the best priced cart out of all the food carts in Oak Tree Station. I would definitely eat here again and try their curry next time.

Tried their signature sunflower fried rice with chinese sausage, fried egg and pork floss over rice. Dude love at first bite. I’m not even kidding. If your tired of normal fried rice i’d recommend to try this. Mango sticky rice with coconut sauce is really really GOOD too!!!

Went this past Saturday and it took almost 10 minutes to get my Chicken Pad Thai. Once I tasted it I was terribly disappointed! it did not taste like Pad Thai AT ALL. Usually Pad Thai is sweet, this was not. It’s like they forgot an important ingredient. What a waste of $17.
