We had a chance to visit Thai station last weekend. Amazing dining experience we haven’t had for a really long time. The food was absolutely fantastic, Fresh quality ingredients.
We had Thai fish cake as a starter,
Pad Thai prawn, Choo Chee Prawn, and Panang Beef cheek (must try).
The Pad Thai was soooooo yummy, you can’t go wrong with Pad Thai and Thai station didn’t let me down, I give it 10/10
Choo Chee Prawn is well balanced style curry.Good size king prawn with a hint of spices this is like what I had back in Thailand just wonderful.
Lastly the Panang Beef cheek this is a must try dish, the beef cheek itself cooked to the perfection it’s just melted in your mouth. I love how the chef topped the dish with green apple salad, cleanse your palate after creamy curry well done chef.
If anyone heading up north of Canterbury (Hanmer spring, Kaikoura etc.) or on the way back to Christchurch city this is the place I recommend for the best Thai food.
The dessert was fantastic too Crème brulee’ and Ice cream was the perfect end.
Definitely come back.

The atmosphere inside the restaurant doesn’t look like any other Thai restaurant. But the food is delicious. Not too sweet and the service is very good The important thing is that the shrimp were very big from the moment I ate them

$27.50 The price for a combi pad Thai is a bit too much. And , the place is cold inside while dining in but the guy at the desk was attentive . The pad thai was average I would say but I don’t know about others.
