Don’t waste your time going here. I ordered through the website to pickup and when I got there at the time stated to pick up, my food was not ready because they never got my order. Thankfully they began my order after I showed them my online receipt, but that was strike 1. After about 15 mins I picked up my food and went home. The food itself was bland, the ingredients were stale and dry and for the price it does not match, strike 2. The final tipping point was finding hair in my food. Strike 3 and I’m done. Eat here at your own risk, I never will.

Thai restaurants are my one of my favorite food, I have this place a try and the BBQ chicken is well served and presented. The flavors are good however the meat was a bit dried. Is hard to find a good Thai restaurant and it’s the reason why I gave it 4 out of 5 stars. Otherwise the place is very clean and has good customer service.

Sadly this place has not been what it used to be. Used to be packed and really good. Kept increasing prices and now their food is a hard pass for lunch. $20 for a lunch special isn’t easy to afford. It’s decent food but the prices are just high.

I really enjoy little hole in the wall family restaurants. This little gem is tucked away in a large town center behind El Pollo Loco off Imperial Hwy and Kraemer. Not a lot of Thai restaurants make great Paw kra Pow minced chicken style mint leaf with basil. I must say, it was very enjoyable and tasty. Perfect amount of spice and heat. Added with soft Jasmin rice. Very well prepared. Now, why the 3 stars you say? Well, my wife ordered Chicken Pad Sew yu. The noodles and chicken were cooked but unfortunately, the broccoli was frozen and cold. Not sure how this was missed or even cooked in a hot fire wok? I believe it was taken out of the freezer, drained in cold water to thaw out and then microwave. We had to send the dish back to get it warmed up. Not the waitress fault. She was very nice and was apologetic. No worries. Nothing a hot wok can’t fix. Besides the cold broccoli and the wait time to get the food (25 minutes to get the food), the food was delicious. 1st impressions are everything. The service was good. So was the food. Would’ve been a better experience if the manager came out and apologized and maybe gave us a small discount or even a dessert (sticky rice with Mango). Big miss there. Overall. I give it 3.5 Stars. Give it a try. Don’t take my word for it. Every day might be a better experience and hopefully hot food. I will definitely give them another try to earn those 1.5 extra stars…. TBC!

Got takeout from Thai Specialty and received two items, here is a breakdown:

Pad Thai w/ Tofu: the pad thai here is good but not great. If you’re in the mood for pad Thai in this area it will get the job done, but there are definitely better around.

Chicken Satay: this was my favorite of the two dishes. Flavorful and moist chicken skewers with a peanut dipping sauce. The peanut sauce was rich and delicious and went well with the chicken.

Overall, this is a solid restaurant for Thai, it won’t blow you away but it will get the job done. The service was fast and efficient.

The price is way too high for this meal. I just paid $28 (includes a 18% tip)for a lunch special- basil fried rice mixed with chicken and beef. I was hoping the taste would compensate for the price….

I haven’t even taken a single bite of the food in the picture, and it cost me $19.18 after tax… I used to order takeout from this place every week — their food had always been pretty good, but the portions have been ridiculously small lately.

6 months under new ownership and for the better! Restaurant has been completely remodeled. Food portions are much larger. Quality of the food is much higher. And whoever is cooking the food is doing a much better job. My red curry was something that I’m going to long to go back for. It was that tasty. My wife’s cashew chicken was one of the best I had ever tasted also. This restaurant is now worth going back to because the portions are larger and the food is higher quality and the chefs interpretations are spot on authentic!

Old review:
Prices are too high, but food and service are good.

This was gonna be my go to place for Thai food until today when I found a DEAD FLY in my soup! I could not even eat it after that and have lost my appetite! I am hoping someone offers me a full refund because it cost me over 20 bucks!

The Tom Yum was excellent, but the garlic chicken was over cooked and dry. Too inconsistent to return.
