Ordered food for the first time for takeout after hearing about this place. Scallion Pancakes, Pad Thai and Gluten-Free Fried Rice were ordered and were absolutely delicious. Takeout meals were each enough for two meals. Will definitely be back and recommend to others!

Some of the BEST Thai food I have EVER HAD!!! My parents live here year-round, but my boyfriend and I live in NJ and visit quite often. We are up here for the week and went to this restaurant with my parents (not their first time, but it was ours). While I didn’t catch his name, our waiter (young guy) was very kind, attentive, enthusiastic, and professional.
The food was unbelievable. We split the pan-fried gyoza, chive cakes, and crab rangoons for appetizers. I am a crab rangoon fiend so I have tried a lot at many different restaurants, but Thai Rice Kitchen had some of the best crab rangoons I’ve ever had. I ordered the pad thai with crispy chicken (same kind of fluffy, light fried chicken that you would get with a sesame chicken-like dish) and it was truly one of the best Thai dishes I’ve ever had. So perfectly seasoned, salty and sweet, with the right amount of crunch and ratio of ingredients.
My boyfriend and parents ordered the drunken noodles with chicken, the Sukhothai noodle soup, and the duck noodle soup. No one could argue that the dish they ordered was the best tasting, because all of them were SPECTACULAR. I wish I had taken pictures because everything looked so delicious, but we dug right in and finished our meals quickly.
If you want to treat your taste buds, you MUST eat here! I can’t wait to come back every time we visit.

First of all, I am SO happy that we have a Thai place closer to Wolfeboro now! HURRAY! Tried Thai Rice for the first time this week. My standard order is Chicken Pad Thai, and this one did not disappoint. It had that great mix of flavor, plenty of chicken, and did not skimp on the crushed peanuts! A++. Best pad thai I’ve had in a long while. I also ordered the summer rolls, which were strangely lacking the flavor of mint, cilantro, and Thai basil, which I thought were standard for that dish, but maybe I’m wrong? And no cukes, carrots, or noodles. Just the greens and avocado. But I give an A+ on the sauces (I tried the peanut and the sweet/sour sauce). Also had the gyoza, which were very tasty. The folks running this place were very friendly and eager to please the customer…we had a charming conversation while I waited for my takeout, which didn’t take long at all. There are a few tables for eating in, and the place is spotless. I plan on ordering again and trying more dishes, but it’ll be hard not to get that yummy chicken pad thai again!

I am pregnant and insanely picky at this point. I had hubby pick me up some duck soup (I was craving pho but Saigon was too far away). I’m telling you, this made me forget everything that ever made me mad today. I’ve have never been a happier pregnant lady than the second I tasted this soup. I normally put homemade nouc mam in all my soups but honestly, this didn’t even need it. I would give it 100/10 stars if I could. Light, flavorful, duck was crispy and tender, crunchy veggies. I can’t wait to eat more once I’m done being nauseous (pregnancy..not the soups fault).

Tried today for the first time. Most importantly the food is delicious and fresh! We ordered take out. Apparently this area could use some improvement. Got two items we did not order and we’re missing the item we were looking most forward to trying. We will go back again but lesson learned, check your order before you leave. I encourage you to try this new gem!

I ordered tofu pad Thai, the fresh rolls and a mango bubble tea. All were fantastic! I ordered to go and my food was ready sooner than I was told on the phone which was great; no waiting longer than told. I do wish the fresh rolls had a little more veggies in them, like carrots and cucumbers, but they were still stuffed with lettuce and avocado! Will absolutely order again and looking forward to trying more menu items.

We finally had a chance to try the new Thai restaurant in town for lunch today and we will definitely be back! The tom yum soup was very flavorful and just the right spice level. For mains, we ordered a tofu pad Thai and chicken drunken noodle. Both were extremely flavorful, cooked perfectly, and large portions. Staff are extremely nice and attentive. This is easily some of the best Thai food around. We’re so fortunate to have it in Alton!
