We were skeptical at first but it was everything we wanted.

We got the panang curry chicken and spicy basil chicken, both 4/5 spicy and it was actually spicy.

Food was good, cheap, healthy and a generous portion.

Good food for the price. Flavors were great! Food came out quickly (we dined in on a Sat evening).

We got the chicken pad Thai, the spring rolls and the garlic shrimp. The pad Thai was good and considering where this place is located it definitely stands out. The spring rolls were ok but be careful because on my third bite I got what seemed like nothing but mint. The garlic shrimp was tasty but the pad Thai was a much better deal.

After a couple of days of eating pizzas and sandwiches, we were craving curry and rice, and Thai Recipe came to the rescue.
The food is delicious. We ordered yellow curry tofu, evil jungle recipe with chicken (house special), cashew nut chicken curry, and dessert, sweet rice and mango.
The food didn’t disappoint at all. It was delicious. Serving size is decent.
It’s a family-friendly restaurant with plenty of parking on site. The restaurant is brightly lit, and plenty of seating is available. The staff was very kind and friendly and made us feel welcomed.

Visiting after a quick hike on a Sunday night was a bad idea, the takeout line was nearly out the door and the staff was overwhelmed. 1 employee was managing seating, serving, waiting, bussing, and taking take-out orders. Food took a while to arrive, but she asked if it was ok before she confirmed my seating. The Pad See Ew was ok but the fried rice was much better. Overall, I think the experience would have been better coming on a quiet night, but the food wasn’t much to brag about.

We had a great experience at this restaurant over Thanksgiving!
They were slammed with online orders and still did a great job attending to us.
This is the best Thai food in the Lake Tahoe basin! (South Lake Tahoe resident for 8 years).
Every dish was amazing and their deserts were fantastic.
Highly recommend the mango sticky rice & eating here!

Yes I’ve had much better authentic Thai in the bay area and around. But this is a warm hug in a place filled with traditional American, Mexican and brewery spots

We got the panang curry and the fresh rolls and they were a bliss. The waitress was overwhelmed but she did a great job to serve us right.

Kudos to the staff and owner for keeping this place up and running

Far exceeded expectations! The Pad Thai was perfectly balanced—not too sweet or oily—and the Tom Yum soup was rich, flavorful, and not overly salty. Everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. Will definitely come back!

Thai Recipe is the only Thai option in Incline Village unless you’re up for a 30-minute drive to Truckee. Some of their dishes are truly delicious. My favorite is the eggplant with beef. The Pad Thai, in my opinion, is just average.

Their weekday lunch specials are a great deal, and the ambience is warm with authentic Thai décor. The service is generally good, though the staff can be a bit stretched since they’re often very busy. While they may not always be the most attentive or friendly, the food makes up for it.

All in all, Thai Recipe does a solid job of satisfying a Thai craving while you’re at the lake.

I love papaya salad there a lot, recommended to order “spicy for Thai people” it was so good! They have the best Thai tea too, the sweetness is perfect ❤️ Also if you go for dinner, it takes a little long because they’re so busy so be prepared.
