We stumbled upon Thai Origin by sheer luck, and now after our second visit, it’s safe to say this will be a regular spot for us.
The food is absolutely amazing – every dish bursts with flavour, perfectly balanced and cooked to perfection. The service is friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. Prices are extremely reasonable for the quality you get, which makes it even more of a gem.
Highly recommend the beef Massaman curry and the green curry, especially when paired with the fluffy coconut rice – simply to die for!

Over priced 3 dishes for $69 rip off.
I go to Thailand a lot very western tasting, not authentic Thai tasting. Very bland food which not much meat but a lot of vegetables and noodles.
Alison’s re-order again. I no good Thai and this isn’t it. I’m paying $69 put more meat in your dishes.

I ordered for a takeaway and the quantity was plenty for a person. The price was around 25$ per person which is fine for the quantity. The food was amazing, it was so flavourful and the right spices kick. The padthai was my best. Highly recommend if you want to have an authentic Thai cuisine.

Excellent experience. Brought the family (5 adults and 2 kids) for Dad’s birthday dinner. We come from South East Asia, and have experienced Thai food in many places.
Food here was amazing. Service was also excellent. They took a reservation for us 2 days earlier. Staff were very courteous, and attentive to even the smallest details like bringing a new spoon when my daughter dropped hers, and automatically bringing plastic bowls for the kids. Such service has been lacking in even more “luxurious” places we’ve visited around Brisbane recently.
Food serving was also great (see pics), and total price for 7 dishes and 2 white rice came up to about $135. We had to pack and takeaway around 3 containers of leftovers. Their set meals (Gold and Platinum) will definitely be worth trying.

Good food, nice little restaurant. Excellent customer service. We had the Penang Fried Rice and Pad See Ew. We were impressed with both dishes.. nice portion, but price is a little high. Taste wise both were really good, especially the pad see ew. Penang Fried rice has a strong flavour which may not be for everyone. Although it was good I might try a spicy fried rice next time. Definitely will be back if we’re in the area again.

The Thai cuisine here is excellent. The meat is moist, tender and succulent. Even though we arrived late, we were given a table and served quickly. It’s a small outlet catering to takeaways so seating is limited. If you enjoy street food, this a great place to watch the comings and goings. There’s plenty of parking. It was our first time here and we will eat here again. Recommended

When we entered the atmosphere was great and the service was phenomenal the wait time was quite quick and the food was just scrumptious but when we were leaving the staff were so kind and polite overall one of the best restaurants ever.
