I had a craving for Thai cuisine and decided to give this restaurant a try. Being someone who has tried numerous Thai restaurants both in Arizona and out of state, I tend to have high standards. I opted for the pad Thai noodles, but unfortunately, the flavor fell short of my expectations, especially considering the price of $19. While the taste might be satisfactory for those who haven’t experienced authentic Thai food or dined at top-rated Thai establishments, it didn’t meet my personal expectations. I believe they may have other delicious offerings on their menu, and it’s possible that other people might enjoy their food. However, if you have particular preferences when it comes to Thai cuisine, you might find yourself slightly disappointed considering the price point.

I’m so disappointed with this place. we really need some good thai food out in our area, but alas, this place is probably the worst of all the ones I’ve tried. We ordered plenty of food: chicken satay, mini eggrolls, panang curry, pineapple curry, pad thai, pepper beef, pad se ew, and curry fried rice. Of those, really only 4 were good (and by good, I mean, ok … nothing to write home about) this we’re the curries, the pepper beef, and the satay. The pad se ew had hardly any flavor it looked like they didn’t even cook it with a sauce cause it was so dry (see picture), I even asked the host/server “isn’t it supposed to be cooked in a sauce?” She said “no but I can bring you some soy sauce. ” The pad thai did have a good amount of sauce, but the flavors were so of it was hardly edible. The curry fried rice was super greasy, and the mini egg rolls were Bland. Normally, if the food isn’t good, I’ll go back another time to see if it was just a bad day, so I’ll update this review if I ever work up the nerve.

Amazing size for Thai iced tea. Very tiny egg rolls, probably would have preferred the regular ones. Both dishes we got were at a 3 spice level, the green curry was sweeter than expected, but the fish was quite good and spicy.

Thai Orchid staff is very pleasant and the food is very well prepared. I ordered the sweet & sour chicken with side of steamed vegetables.

My sister and I have been here many times. The soup was more like broth this time. The Pad Thai was a little too sweet. We were 1 of 2 diners and we had to get up to request the check. The air conditioner should be on by now. It was a little too warm. Will probably give it 1 more try.

Placed a takeout order. It was ready in a timely manner. Service was friendly and efficient even though they only had one waitress. The price was average for the dinner entrees we got, but the soup was a little overpriced. We got the panang curry with chicken. It was good if you have a craving for it, but it wasn’t the best I’ve had. Very peanut-y and a little too sweet. It didn’t have the savory side I’m used to with this dish. The soup was very bland. Egg rolls were okay. Overall, if I was really craving Thai food I would go here, but if I had time I’d still choose to go all the way to Chandler for my favorite Thai restaurant.
