The staff was friendly, kind, and attentive throughout our visit. There weren’t many people, which made the atmosphere quiet and relaxed. The music played softly in the background, adding to the peaceful vibe.

However, there were some issues with the restrooms. The men’s restroom had no soap, and the women’s restroom was filled with dried roses, creating an unusual and somewhat strange scent.

Now, let’s talk about the food. Unfortunately, this is where the positives end. The only enjoyable dish was the vermicelli noodles. We ordered chicken (item #43), but it didn’t meet our expectations. Both soups and the salad we tried were very disappointing, and I wouldn’t recommend them at all.

Another issue was with the tableware and water—both had a noticeable odor, which was quite off-putting. If you plan to eat here, I’d suggest ordering a cola. At least the cola from the can tasted good.

In conclusion, I’m giving two stars, mainly because of the friendly staff and their warm smiles. However, the kitchen needs improvement if the restaurant hopes to see returning customers.

Living near Green Lake this was my teenage daughter and my first time in. We chose to come for a late lunch to avoid the crowd that we often see . The lady that greeted us was very kind and attentive. We sat where we liked and enjoyed nice glass of ice water while we looked over the menu. Settling on an appetizer into entrees to go with my Thai beer. We were made to feel very welcome can a very clean vibrant restaurant. There are a few parking spots out front with easy access to the restaurant. We will definitely be back with other friends and family to experience other items on the menu that we hope will be just as delicious as the ones we ordered.

I really love this restaurant! The food is delicious and all the staff are so nice, including the owner, she is the best! Really welcoming place where I always want to come back.

The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. We came in with a group of twenty after a walk club at green lake and they were able to seat us. The service was great and the menu has a large variety. I have had pad Thai many times in Thailand so when I tried it, I could tell it was different but still full of flavor. The portions are also huge. I would recommend if you are in the green lake area and craving Thai.

I had a very disappointing service experience yesterday. Our server did not keep our water refilled, and when I asked for a glass of water, she placed it on another table and asked me to retrieve it myself. Later, instead of bringing the check to our table, she asked me to go to the front counter to complete payment. This stood in stark contrast to how another nearby table was treated, where full table service was provided. The inconsistency and lack of basic courtesy were frustrating. I would strongly recommend choosing a restaurant that treats all customers with equal respect.

This used to be one of my favorite spots to get Thai food, but after the poor service I received today I won’t be coming back. At first I just thought my server was having an off day (it happens, we all have those), but unfortunately the service went from bad to worse as the meal went on.

They completely forgot to bring me the drink I ordered until I reminded them 20 minutes later, the lunch special I ordered was incomplete (it was supposed to come with a spring roll, but didn’t), and the food was way too salty. I very rarely send food back, but after a few bites of trying to eat it, I realized that it was so salty that I couldn’t eat it. The waiter offered to make me something else instead at the same price of the lunch special. The restaurant wasn’t busy, only 2-3 tables were seated, but it still took a super long time for the food.

The waiter then overcharged me, charging me the dinner price, not the lunch special price, which was $3-4 more. When I tried to ask her about the price, she started yelling at me in front of the whole restaurant, to the point where other tables were looking. I understand that mistakes happen, and I was being very polite and patient about it, but to be yelled at like that left me feeling really shaken up. I’m sad that a place I used to really like would be so rude to a customer.

everything i get from here is super tasty and cheap! where you might spend $25 on a meal at another restaurant, these people offer a great Pad See Lew for 15 after tax:) all ingredients were fresh and tasted amazing. service is friendly, dining room is clean. it’s definitely not the most beautiful, but the price and quality totally makes up for it. highly recommend you pay a visit!

We love Thai Ocean! They have so much range on their menu, and their food is always fresh. Their Phad Thai is the best in Seattle, and their Sweet and Sour Chicken is the perfect balance-it is not too sweet.

Their hot sauce is wonderful too!

My family enjoys Thai Ocean with a variety of spice levels. I prefer very spicy (and they nail it) but even their one star heat is excellent. Every bite has texture and is heavenly.

While we are not dining out at the moment, I did call them and pick up my food all in 20 minutes. Their restaurant is clean, they are enforcing masks, sanitizing, and they have an excellent rating in King County food safety. They have gone above and beyond in their service. Check them out!
