Dined in early- 5:30pm so wasn’t expecting many customers at that time of day.
Warmly welcomed at the door and showed to our table. Ambience was pleasant, decor well maintained and lighting was suitable.
Quality of food was decent. Presented well although on a slightly plain side, every dish was packed with flavour. I visited due to a discount site but would safely say the full menu price were competitively priced and would gladly return.
With no alcoholic licence we popped to the shop next door. Glasses and bottle opener supplied

I’ve ordered a takeaway from Thai Lounge previously and enjoyed it. However last night I ordered a takeaway from them through Just Eat and it took 2 hours to arrive which I think is ridiculous! Not only that but the containers arrived damaged and the food was cold. I had to heat it up myself but even then the flavours weren’t great, the calamari and prawn toast in the starters were soggy, the chicken satay portion was incredibly small and the noodles barely had any flavour. Really disappointed and won’t be ordering from here again.

Thai Lounge is hands down my favorite Thai restaurant in town! The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and the staff are always so friendly and attentive. The menu has a great variety of dishes, and everything I’ve tried has been absolutely delicious. I highly recommend the Pad Thai and the Green Curry – they’re both to die for! The prices are reasonable as well.

Amazing food for amazing prices with amazing staff. The ambience of the restaurant is really calming and comfortable, everyone is friendly and making sure you feel welcome. The portions are really generous and you really get your money’s worth if not even more.
For starters we had the Papaya Salad (awesome, but quite hot), as well as the Chicken Salad (perfect). For the mains we chose the Pad Makahm duck (this was the best duck both of us ever had!!) and the Chi Mussaman Curry (very delicious).
The 20min car journey to get there was definitely worth it and I will go again!

Easily and with a huge confidence giving 5 to this restaurant. We are lovers of Thai food , usually been going to Caning Town for the dinner or so . This time decided to save our time and also traffic at the Blackwall tunnel brought us to this really nice place . As I know they’re just started, so doesn’t seems to be really busy . Shame as hidden gem was so close our house . Our area is full of restaurants, but only few where we’re we coming back and will do to this one for sure .Staff was really friendly and treated us well . After the payed bill , been treated with free alcoholic beer , prosecco and juice for our little.

One of the worst Thai soup I have ever tried, it’s very salty and watery, and tempura was soggy and oily. I am not sure they are still getting customer after this kind of food, first and last. Please avoid if you don’t want to spoil your night!

We visited the Thai Lounge tonight and had a great night, food was excellent and the service was on par with the food! I had penang chicken with a satay chicken starter. My wife is Vegan and the choice For her was extensive, almost a whole page of options ! We will definitely be going back again .
5 stars from us .

How is this a “Thai restaurant” when 2/3 of the menu isn’t Thai? Gyoza, baos, nasi goreng, yaki soba, udon, chow mein, soba noodles, Korean fried chicken, egg fried rice, teriyaki chicken, and katsu curry? NONE of this is thai.
The only Thai dishes you have are a few coconut curries, and tom yum… Stop conning people.
