We ended up stopping here after finding out the Korean chicken spot was closed. I had actually been here once before but honestly couldn’t remember much about it. This visit definitely left a great impression!
We ordered the Lao sausage with sticky rice, and my friend got a noodle dish. Both were really flavorful and filling. The Thai teas were massive—definitely worth the price! While the overall prices are on the higher side, the super friendly staff more than made up for it. Everyone was so welcoming and attentive, it really made the meal that much better.
The atmosphere was cozy and relaxed, and I found myself just enjoying the vibe and listening in on my friend’s conversation with the staff. The whole experience felt warm and genuine.
All around, it was a delicious meal with great service, and I’d say this place is a hidden gem in Arlington. I’m really glad we came by and I’d absolutely come back again.

Im so surprised this place doesn’t have more popularity. The ambience is beautiful, the customer service is wonderful and the food was good.

Excellent authentic Laotian papaya salad, pho that does NOT need hoisin or sriracha because the flavor is so present, curry that is just the right amount of sweetness – we order from here once a week and absolutely love it. Cozy little restaurant with limited seating but has never been a problem. Super sweet staff. Love love love their food. Very affordable for the portion sizes. Some dishes on the higher end ($30+) but those are specialty dishes or have seafood/pricer proteins. 10/10 recommend.

I had a great time at Thai @ Lao Bistro today. I got the Musman curry and the Samosas. My curry wasn’t not too hot but just the right amount of heat to make the dish pop. The Samosas were crunchy and delicious. The Potato,carrot and wood ear mushroom mixture was a surprise to me when I first at it but I wasn’t disappointed. The taste was amazing. Overall Thai and Lao Bistro is a great place to go and I would highly recommend anyone coming here.

Came on lunch break and thought they were on their in between lunch break, but they were ready to rock n roll and serve food.

I did not have a great experience with this restaurant. Firstly, the prices listed on their website are not accurate. We arrived after placing a pickup order and the bill was almost $5 higher. For every item. The crab rangoons were clearly Frozen and not even refried, and were quite soggy. The food was not very tasty, for example, the pho was given with almost no meat, or side sauces/chili included as is normal for pho.

This is a cute little quaint restaurant in this shopping center. The food is good and flavorful. Since its small they are more tentative to your orders and your needs. The cooks are good also not a long wait and their arrangements are tasteful.

The waitress wasn’t rude but she wasn’t nice. Put menus on the table and walked away. The food was delicious and the tai tea was very good as well. There was no atmosphere. No music and very quiet.

Ordered curry duck but 20 minutes later was given roasted duck and was told they put in the order wrong. She gave me the food before saying this and asked if I’d like to change it but gave me a facial expression when she asked like I better not say yes, I hate people like this of course I took the food reluctantly. I wasnt going to wait another 20 minutes for them to correct their mistake. Was told to just try the curry duck next time.
