I was a bit skeptical about ordering food from a ghost kitchen facility, but Thai Kitchen completely proved me wrong. I’ve been back several times and everything I’ve sampled is flavorful and fresh. This is easily one of the best Thai restaurants in the STL area (if judging on food quality alone). Pickup is pretty simple; there’s ample parking. You just walk inside and ring a doorbell labeled with Thai Kitchen’s name.

First off, this is a ghost kitchen. Nothing wrong with that, but that came as a surprise when I went to pick up my food
The food is very mid. It’s good value, it seems consistently fine, but there’s not a ton of attention to detail. Pad Thai would be improved by lime and the spice level was off.
The Thai dumplings were good.
The soup was fine.

Love the food options, being able to get a vegetarian option. I ordered Penang Curry with veggies. I asked for 1 spice (0 is no spice). Holy crap, I’d hate to see what anything hotter than 1 would be. I do like a little spice but I could not even eat this because it was SO spicy. $18 wasted. Spice level should be fairly easy going from none to a little with a 1.

Service was great, food was terrible. I ordered the Noodle Tom Yum Soup for $21 pickup. Broth was watery and had zero flavor. The soup was also missing the chicken so it was just noodles, 2 tasteless “crab sticks”, 1 shrimp and 2 tasteless balls haha not sure what they really are.
I really wanted to like this place, as it’s right by the hill but I will not be returning!

Ok Thai food. $18 for Pad Thai. It has to be amazing. It was ok, but the price didn’t match the quality. Definately someplace I would get regularly, but not at these price points. $9 for that quality of Pad Thai would make more sense.

The Thai food scene in STL has been in dire straits recently, with Chao Baan falling off hard and King & I departing for the county. So you can imagine my excitement when I saw Thai Kitchen was opening nearby.
My meal last night was excellent. The yellow curry was rich with just the right spice level, and the rangoons were delicious. This will be my go-to Thai takeout spot from now on.
Only issue is that their pickup procedure is a little unclear. It’s supposed to be a no-contact pick-up, where you get your food from a locker in the lobby (unlocked via a check-in kiosk). But I guess Thai Kitchen isn’t using that system, so I had to wait around a bit to ask someone for my food.

BEWARE: nastiest beef pad Thai I’ve ever gotten and gave me food poisoning.
I ordered door dash from here last night and it was terrible. Could barely eat it. I gave up and felt sick the rest of the night. Now I’m throwing up in the bathroom at 4 AM.
I’m pretty sure they gave me week old serving or something. I NEVER get food poisoning or sick from eating stuff. They need to be inspected by the health department.

The best Pad Thai in all of St. Louis. I eat at their other locations in St Charles county. So happy there is a location near me in stl city. Also love their spring rolls, cheese rolls, and Rangoon.

As a fan of Thai kitchen in St. Charles this place is such a let down. The whole ghost kitchen aspect feels disjointed. The first few times I ordered here it was on par with its full service locations, however the last three or four times I’ve ordered the quality, amount of food, and consistency has been terrible. Avoid this place at all costs.
