The parking lot situation in the snow was not very great. There was a large pile of snow covering several parking spaces, so I hope the building management can fix it for both the businesses in customers. If you come in the summer, parking will probably be easy.
The interior of the store is small but very cute. All of the seats have backs, and there is a small bar to sit at as well. There is a slight Bohemian vibe with exposed brick walls and various decorations.
As for the food, I ordered from the lunch menu. For $12.95, it is a very good price. I got the coconut soup with red chicken curry and crab rangoons. The coconut soup was creamy and slightly sweet. It was very warming for the cold weather. The chicken curry, like soup, was also creamy and slightly sweet with a coconut base. However, it had an added richness and bite with the spice.
The crab rangoons were small, around the size of a golf ball, and came with sweet chili sauce. The outside was slightly crispy and the inside was warm and creamy. When paired with the sweet chili sauce, it was very delicious.
The presentation itself was also nice. The lunch came in a bento box, and all the different colors and textures were delightful to look at. The service was also very friendly and helpful.
In all, if you want a delicious, well-crafted meal, come to Thai Kitchen to try Thai food. I would recommend anyone to come here for a lighthearted meal with their family or friends.
Going during off-peak hours if possible.
If gluten sensitivity / allergy is a concern, letting them know clearly (staff seem responsive about that).
Maybe trying popular dishes first (curries, pad thai, etc.) are my favourite!
My favorite dish is Laksa – Thai Kit is my go to for this dish.
I would suggest the Chicken Laksa (with some extra Thai chili pepper if you want some kick). It is not on my taste level with actually being in SE Asia and eating it – but it is very delicious and best Laksa you wil find in Connecticut. I did not select that as a suggested dish as it was not on the items for me to select.
