House special pho is verrrry yummy!!!
Street style basil pork is tasty as well, lots beans.
Pumpkin curry is flavorful and slightly spicy to keep yourself warm.
Good comes out fast. And the servers are attentive. We will definitely return.
It was a Saturday evening around 6PM.
When we pulled into the parking lot we noticed there wasn’t many cars…
Oh well, let’s give it a shot.
When we entered we were greeted quickly and friendly from an Asian gentleman (said his name was Hank).
The restaurant is fairly large and well lit (a bit too much for my liking).
There was a large table being seated – looked to 2 or 3 families with some kids.
That was about it – the large family and us…
There is also a nice sushi bar off to the left as you go into the restaurant.
We were seated quickly and drinks taken.
The menu is an interesting mix of Thai, Chinese and Sushi.
Lots of different choices – we were impressed.
We decided to order an appetizer or two- we were starving!
Went with the safe bet – crispy rolls. Nicely cooked egg roll kind of thing with a good assortment of veggies inside a rice paper wrapper with both a peanut sauce and sweet and sour sauce. And a side of Edamame.
The crispy rolls were delicious and the sauces perfect (peanut was the favorite). The edamame – good, nicely steamed and salted.
Encouraged we decided to order a sushi, a Thai dish and a Chinese dish.
For sushi we went with the California Crunch Special roll.
It was huge! Loaded with crispy shrimp, crab and avocado. The presentation was impressive and the taste was great – highly recommended.
(Sorry, no picture, we were too hungry 😉
On to the main courses. My wife had the Chicken Green Curry with white rice and I went for Cashew Chicken with fried rice.
The dishes arrived on a large white plate – each with (another) crispy spring roll, a large mound of the rice and a bowl/plate of an entree.
After digging in, my wife (who knows her curries) said the Green Curry was the best she has had in years. Just spicy and sweet enough with a nice assortment of perfectly cooked vegatables.
My Cashew Chicken was very good! Rich, slightly spicy brown sauce with plenty of chicken, vegetables and some cashews.
The fried rice was great – perfect accompaniment!
Overall we had a great meal – and were happily stuffed.
By 7:30 the restaurant was filling up! Lots of what I could see were repeat customers!
We can see why!!!
if you dont have a sweet tooth, like my lady, i would pass on the red curry but i loved it.
everything was served steaming hot. if you want some perfectly cut sashimi, this is the place to go.
what we ordered : red curry 2x, chicken pho with bamboo shoot added, sashimi deluxe, house special pho.
