Outpost of a small vegan chain serving reinterpreted Thai classics, along with wraps & burgers.

Craving tom kha gai like you wouldn’t believe the last few days.
Coming in I was warmly greeted and taken care of.
The soup brought me back to my childhood and was hands down the best.
You can’t have noodles and Tom kha gai without Thai tea! Which hands down completed the meal. With Thai tea flavored dessert. 🙂
Will definitely be spreading the word of how this Thai restaurant is the place to go to in the Albuquerque.
Day2: green curry veggie no meat w/ a side of jasmine tea.
If you’re not coming here yet! You’re missing out!!!

I’ve been stopping here for almost two decades, every time I pass through ABQ, as it’s has been a vegan staple of the area. Now, I know this is my fault, but I somehow missed that they’d added animal flesh and eggs to their menu back in 2018. Regardless, stopping here this time and discovering this was pretty disappointing, and had the other location not been temporarily closed, I would’ve opted for that one.
The food was as good as always, and the server assured me that things like noodles and broths are still vegan by default, but it was still disheartening to find out a pioneer in Albuquerque vegan food regressed like that.

Cute spot. The vegan Thai iced tea was one of the best I’ve ever had. We were the only customers there(Sat 8/30, 3pm) The server was great! She was on it and very friendly. They mix the brown and white rice and shape into hearts. We had the yellow chicken curry, veggie spring rolls, fried soy chicken, tofu skewers, and fries. All very tasty! My 6 year old was done with his curry, rice, and fries, and still wanted to “drink” some curry. Ha!

Since I am a foodie… I thought I would try this place….. If, you want REAL Pad Thai…. Do not come here. Alllllllll my noodles were stuck together with STARCH. INEDIBLE…. I ordered the Veggie Tempura….. It was like eating bread before you got to the tiny vegetable. Also, they don’t use REAL and FRESH vegetables to make your food. Your veggies are coming from a frozen Sam’s or COSTCO bag .

I am always down with dining in a Route 66 business, especially one that is not a corporate chain. It’s not that I despise them. It’s just that the smaller businesses need our support, too, and often have far better food anyway.
And that’s exactly what I think about Thai Heritage and Vegan, a place I have now dined at three times. Located on Central SE in the Nob Hill area (and thus right on the Mother Road), it has a ring side seat to the mix of locals and heritage tourists making their way down this road.
This time I had the Green Curry Pad Thai, and it did not disappoint. Service was fast, the presentation top shelf, and the flavor spot on. My Pad Thai packed just enough heat to make it memorable, but not so much that I left crying. I especially liked how I was brought several Thai and southeast Asian chile sauces so that I could flavor my meal as I deemed fit.
The decor of this restaurant is very elaborate. The bar indicates that this is not a run-of-the-mill Thai establishment, but one of the finer. I marveled at the statuary and art, all conveying an atmosphere that was far from Albuquerque.
Yes, I will be back again. This is a great place, and if you fancy a vegan twist on Thai favorites, you cannot go wrong here.

I thought I had previously left a review 5 years ago and wanted to update it. Regardless, Thai Heritage and Vegan has some of the BEST Pad Thai in all of Albuquerque. During my DoorDash days, I tried every Thai restaurant’s Pad Thai, none have come close to this one. The balance of flavors is on point, Thai hot is too much for me these days but level 4 is perfect. Skip other restaurants (Fan Tang makes terrible Pad Thai, tastes like ketchup) and stick with something more authentic.

This place was solid. We ordered the chicken pad Thai and we were not disappointed. Keep in mind it’s vegan but even then my husband really loved it. I look forward to going back and trying more of their options. Service was remarkable as well. Decor was interesting. We will be back.

My girlfriend and I had an amazing experience dining here! The place was empty when we got there. The waitress was super friendly and the food was delicious! The best Golden Tofu was the best I’ve ever had! Not surprised that halfway through our meal the restaurant started to fill up

Passed by here on a road trip. So awesome to find some really good fresh vegan food on the road. It was really good. I even took pictures. Everything we got was Fire ❤️ The curry’s were so good! The Tom kha soup was excellent. My non vegan road mates got the ginger steak and curry dumplings and loved it too. Will remember this place for the future!

The restaurant is big and has a quirky vibe. Service was ok.
Food was delicious. We had a veggie curry and a veggie stir fry, both with fried tofu. We are vegan and we’re glad to see several dishes clearly marked on the menu.
We ordered for dessert fried bananas wrapped in Philo dough.
Bathrooms very clean.
