Easily the best bar/restaurant in the Greenville neighborhood. Whenever I come here, I’m greeted with a warm smile, personal greeting and my favorite drink before I even say a word. Taylor has an absolutely amazing. My go to order is the chicken fried smash burger, but let me just say these chicken nuggets are absolutely divine!!! If you’re hungry or thirsty come the Life’s Good because life’s good!

Calvin is an excellent owner. This bar has a wonderful vibe on Karaoke nights, and sports weekends. If you’re in for lunch on Mondays and Tuesdays, go see Taylor. She’s attentive, personable, and just a great person to know. She’s also in on weekend nights!

I had such a great time here! The atmosphere was fun and laid-back, and the vibes were just right. The food was super fresh and tasted amazing you can tell they put care into everything they serve.

Think… 1st timer.. Christmas Day at 1130p. Walked in and immediately was greeted by the bartenders w a welcoming smile. These 3 ladies (Taylor, Teá, Maddie) will make sure you have the best experience. Vibe was great including Karaoke while catching up on sports missed because of the holiday shuffle. Steak fingers were on point. Recommend experiencing this spot!

I stopped in late after a long day at work. The bartender Tom was friendly and attentive. However, The reason for my rating is largely due to the food.
I ordered a meal to go to bring home for me and my spouse and was very disappointed. Given the menu prices, what I ordered was poorly prepared. Even worse was the quality of the food.
I always like to get some kind of food when I’m out at a bar, whether it’s alone or with friends. I wouldn’t recommend this bar when management seems to be cutting corners on what is higher priced bar food.

2024 edit: Finally had a chance to revisit LG Taps. The staff is still amazing, the food is now made in-house, and the drinks are still great! However, it is no longer the cozy dive bar it once was. They have aimed for more of a Sports-Bar vibe. It has gotten a surge of popularity it seems (super great for them!) and it was shoulder to shoulder inside with music blaring. So, still a nice place if that is what you’re looking for, but just a different atmosphere from what it was a few years ago that I loved.
This place is, without a doubt, my favorite dive bar I have ever been to! The staff here were phenomenal, the drinks were great and reasonably priced (especially considering all the clubs surrounding them), the food truck they had serving as a ghost kitchen was amazing as well. I was unfortunately only visiting Dallas, so I cannot frequent LG Taps as often as I would like, but if you find yourself in the area or are a local looking for a comfortable spot to call your home-bar, please give them a shot!

This is a neighborhood fav for the dive bar atmosphere but it’s not cheap and the food is not good, at all.
Beers are ok priced but have a 25% add on for service. Then the frozen thing..I do not think they put alcohol in it. See the pic..the ice was not melted at all like when you go to a daiquiri bar. Very strange!
The chicken fingers were over cooked and rubbery…and the breading didn’t even stay on. They saw my basket full of breading and picked apart chicken after my meal so, they know!
It does have a cool atmosphere of music and special events so I think they should just do better on the food and alcohol front.

I came into this bar with a certain mindset, but Taylor completely changed my opinion. Her exceptional customer service and friendly attitude made my experience so much better. She went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of, and her positive energy truly stood out. Because of her, I’m leaving a glowing review, and she absolutely deserves a generous raise for her outstanding support!

I reallyyy wanted to like this place, but… We went on a Sunday afternoon and had the cheeseburger and the Texas hotdog (both ok). The food was priced fair, $12, $11 with 2 fries at an extra cost. The drink prices were decent (given the bartender didn’t have a “heavy” hand). HOWEVER, I am completely disturbed by this “delivery fee” for a dine-in tab. It’s a whopping 25% of our bill. No one told us about it and I had to ask several follow up questions before the staff admitted that this is an automatic gratuity. I’m sorry but the service was not deserving of a 25% tip! It wasn’t terrible but to give customers no choice and no warning is petty theft. It has potential but smoking is permitted at a place where kids and pets are welcome. Parking sucks as with most places on Greenville Ave. I will not be back, ever.
