Thai Golden is a family-owned restaurant and cafe located in Carmel, New York. In a no-frills space, we pride ourselves on serving the finest and freshest home-style Thai cuisine in the Lower Hudson Valley area. With the expansion in 2016, the cafe addition has provided the restaurant to experiment with more drinks, live music, art parties and an overall warm environment between traditional and the contemporary.

Well done service and bright gorgeous view on the Lake Gleneida , tasteful food, flavors are amazing at this Thai restaurant. We had a great lunch and I would definitely come back . Delicious food, which does not overdo the salt (as is typical). Gorgeous décor and friendly waitstaff. There are about four bottled beers on menu. Bathroom narrow but clean. This locale hosts karaoke on some nights.

Cute place. Food was very tasty. I had the masamam curry with tofu and it was really good. Staff is friendly and service is very casual. We did have to find our waitress to pay the check but no big deal. Def recommend for family outing- they have a nice selection of games.

My favorite spot in the area for Thai food. My most loved dishes are the red curry, pad Thai, the roti appetizer, any of the chicken wing varieties and the duck rolls. The bubble tea is always excellent. Bright, hip and cheery atmosphere with staff that is always attentive and friendly. I also love that the owners care about being a part of the community at large. I recommend this restaurant to everyone and think it’s one of the best in Carmel, which can be lacking in variety aside from pizzerias.

We have been coming here for five years and the food has been hit or miss. Recently, the food and drinks have greatly improved and we really enjoyed our meals! Highly recommend the Yuzu strawberry twist. it’s a none alcoholic drink that is slightly sweet and refreshing! We loved the fried tofu appetizer that was light in texture, flavorful with the thai chili sauce and lime juice. my main dish was the glass noodle with shrimp in a clay pot. it’s savory and fragrant. Even our next table diners asked me about it. Will keep coming back for more!

Traveling Cosmos and Tacos
Had lunch here today. Can’t wait until it’s warmer to eat outside, the view of the lake is just across the street. I had Chicken Satay appetizer and Thai Basil Chicken Thighs. It was delicious, a bit spicier than expected, but good.
