Reviews
Regarding the cuisine, this intimate restaurant consistently delivers fresh ingredients, aromatic profiles, and robust flavors.
As a frequent diner, I find myself consistently returning to this particular establishment.
The service is consistently friendly and prompt. The overall experience consistently merits a rating of five stars or higher. Please note that during peak hours, the restaurant can be quite busy, and patience is appreciated given the small yet highly efficient kitchen.
I can assure you that if you are reading this review, you likely appreciate Thai cuisine and may be contemplating your dining options. I highly recommend treating yourself to the exceptional culinary experience offered here, rather than opting for a less satisfying alternative.
I wish you an enjoyable dining experience, and I trust you will find this restaurant as delightful as I consistently do.
But. The. Food! We tried multiple dishes based on reviews.
The Thai stick was exceptional. If I had it to do over, I would’ve had us each get a Thai stick and take everything else home to enjoy for days.
The Goong Gleur was an entirely new taste to me, but very intricate and unique. It was the first thing I went for as leftovers when we got home.
The chicken pad Thai is neck and neck with our favorite and the drunken noodles came in second although I did alter and add broccoli. I was surprised to find baby corn in chicken drunken noodles, but I love baby corn so that was fine. They create unusual dishes and I can’t wait to go back and try more.
My top recommendations:
●Thai Stick (pork skewers with sticky rice) – super tasty and satisfying.
●Som Tum (Papaya Salad) – fresh and full of flavor.
●Mango with Sticky Rice – my favorite dessert here, always a must!
Great food, great atmosphere—definitely worth checking out!
I had a great dining experience at Thai Ghang Waan! The food was delicious and packed with authentic Thai flavors. We tried a variety of dishes, and everything from the Crispy Pork Belly to the Papaya Salad was spot on. The service was friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome throughout the meal.
The restaurant is small but cozy, which adds to its charm. It’s a great spot for a casual dinner with a relaxed atmosphere. Despite the smaller space, they do a fantastic job keeping it comfortable and clean. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for authentic Thai food in the Springfield area. We will definitely be back!
I had the crispy duck which was the first time I had ever ordered it and I loved it! The only thing I was surprised by was there was not any kind of sauce which my friend tells me crispy duck always comes with a sauce? I feel that would cut down on the crispiness, but it would be appreciated along with the rice. I will request it next time. That aside, I will get it again but I definitely want to try some of their other dishes!
