pineapple curry and chicken pad Thai. Very generous portions.
I had a fantastic experience at this Thai restaurant! The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. I accidentally placed an online order without mentioning my egg allergy, and when I came to pick it up, the manager was so kind and understanding. Without hesitation, they offered to remake the dish—no hassle, no attitude, just a warm smile and great service. It’s rare to find a place that truly cares about its customers, and this one absolutely does. Highly recommend!
For my main course, I ordered the drunken noodles and asked the server about their spice levels. He mentioned that their medium was pretty spicy, so I opted for mild. However, even the mild was quite spicy—almost too spicy for my taste, and I usually don’t mind a little heat. If you’re sensitive to spice, I’d recommend being extra cautious and maybe even specifying no spice at all.
I also tried the Thai bubble tea. The Thai tea itself was fantastic—rich and flavorful—but I wasn’t a fan of the tapioca pearls. I’m sure plenty of people love them, but they just weren’t for me.
Overall, the food was vibrant and delicious, the portions were generous, and the service was friendly and attentive. It’s a cozy spot with a great atmosphere, and I’d definitely come back—just with a heads-up about the spice levels, and I’d skip the pearls next time!
Khaopiak- too strong of ginger taste, noodle portion small, bland. Lots of chicken tho.
Lao Papaya- looked great, tasted mediocre. Need more flavor in papaya sauce. Decent portion. Ordered spicy, wasnt.
Chicken Wings- flamin at spiciest level. Special sauce most likely hoisin+sriracha so nothing special. Again not spicy. Typical portion.
Thai Tea- perfect! Not too sweet.
Too many restaurants of same cuisine in TC that do it better, cheaper, and free parking (tho only paid $2 at meter). Best for those who live close n dont feel venturing further out.
The Crab Rangoon (Cream Cheese Wantons) were crisp and not oily. The sauce that accompanied them was well balanced.
The Chicken & shrimp pad Thai was sweetly flavored and it wasn’t overbearing. It was very tasty and fresh!
Great place, good location! I recommend this for lunch, a dinner date or when you’re wanting excellent Thai!
