My friends and I had late dinner lastnight.
The Pad Thai was the nicest on the menu for me.
The protein proportions and veggies were enough except that I had to ask for extra spice TWICE which I really didn’t mind.
The combination of the spice into the pad Thai after serving was really tasty and spicy like wanted.
I enjoyed my meal

Solid fast food Pad Thai. Restaurant is fine, staff were quick. Definitely a great option if you’re hungry on Spring Garden. Open relatively late too which is nice. Price point is a bit high, but so is everything these days. I’ll probably be back.

On Sunday August 31, I rushed across town to make it to Thai Express before they closed at 11 and made it there at exactly 10:52, eight minutes before close. Although the door was open and the sign said open, the two staff told me it was closed since 10:30 despite the internet and sign saying it was open till 11:00. Having worked in restaurants for many years when I was young, I know what it’s like when someone orders food after the kitchen is all cleaned up but I always sucked it up, made the order, and re-cleaned that little part of the kitchen. Unfortunately, the young man and woman who were working at Thai Express on Sunday August 31 were not that dedicated to customer service and lied to me about the closing time. Poor, poor service.

7.45 bucks for such a ridiculously small portion of Mango Salad, I feel getting ripped off. Not sure if it’s because of the staff or the dish has always been this small. Only 5 thin slides of mango and the rest are like cabbage. The sauce is good tho BUT please increase the portion or reduce the price?(!!) Make it more reasonable

I love thai express, but this location is really suck.
1. smells bad in restaurant
2. hard to comunicate, loud noise, and cashier not familar with basic english.
3. I ordered one mini soup and one regular soup, but a I got 2mini size noodle.
4. I said to go, but they didn’t put in any fork or chops.
5. the yum soup in this location only has very very little vege and only 2 pieces of fish.
I will never go to this location again, just sit at home call develivery from duke st or simpiliy cook at home.
2025 updates: still even the simple beef pad Thai, noodles are still raw, texture like rubber, bean spouts raw as well, pure white. Got no choice, too hungry.

I ordered vegan fried rice and got eggs in my vegan. Good job f$&@ing my order. I would never order from this branch. The Scotia square or HSC ones are 100 times better than you. Thank you for keeping me hungry when I am quarantining!

Ordered their vegan pad Thai off skip with two emperor rolls and a drink. Got lo mein noodles and vegetables with one roll, no drink, no sauce. The noodles had a package of peanuts, no lime. Tasted like food court ready hot food, not made to order. Pretty sure it wasn’t. I won’t eat here again I’m afraid.
Edit: I commend the owner for reaching out and making things right, that goes a long way with me so I’m changing my rating. They back up their food quality.
