I wouldn’t recommend this place even if it was the last and only restaurant in the world. As someone who’s worked at a Thai restaurant in Albany with authentic Thai food for two years this place makes me so disappointed. Tonight I decided to give it another try (was disappointed every time I’ve been, which has always been sparingly and not often) I took a risk and got curry. HUGE MISTAKE. This is said curry….. It’s literally CLEAR. curry is supposed to have coconut milk and have a way thicker consistency. I almost thought they gave me the wrong order because I’ve never seen curry look like this before. It also has no flavor and just tastes like fish oil and spice. I’m not being dramatic when I say this place is not worth your hard earned money. I should have known better after being utterly rendered speechless every time I eat here, but I am a slow learner… I can’t even get a refund because I live across town and I refuse to drive back over there or call for a meal replacement because I can’t give them the benefit of the doubt that it would actually be any better.

Definitely worth it! The food was delicious, although a bit colder than I would have wanted. The spice level was on point and the pick up process was smooth. Sit-in options are also available but you might have to wait a bit if visiting during busier times.

The pad thai is really by far the best dish.
I prefer the spice level 4-5.
Mostly 5 although I don’t have that high a tolerance for spice as my Indian counterparts normally do.

Unfortunately I have to update and lower my review. While the food is still good, the prices have gone up and the portions are way smaller. I used to get two meals out of one, which justified the cost. Now it’s like $3 more and i don’t have leftovers. The last two times I’ve paid for double tofu, there was less than 10 pieces in the whole dish. Very disappointing.
Also just dedicate a few hours to giving the place a good clean. It’s never improved in all the years I’ve been going here.

I accidentally stumbled into to Thai Chili while looking for a different restaurant, but I decided to give it a shot. I really enjoyed the Beef Pho (pictured below), but I sat there for a good long while before I got my food. The restaurant was pretty busy and packed the whole time. Still, I saw walk-ins with to-go orders getting their food quicker than I did.

Great place! Customer service had great vibes and the food was delicious! I got beef pad thai for takeout and the worker was polite and accomodating!
