We were excited to find a Thai place with decent reviews. Unfortunately we’re very disappointed. Ordered pad Thai drunken noodle and some tom kah. Soup was okay – flavor was there. Drunken noodle was awful. No flavor. Just noodles tossed together with a spice. We wanted so badly to like it. I hope they take some time and just perfect their dishes. Left feeling grossed out. Staff was kind and the place did look nice. but the food was disappointing.

This place has always been Great, I love around the corner and frequent the place at least twice a week. It has become my pre and post workout fuel because I can eat two big portions from one meal. My favorite is simple, steak fried rice (done spicy) with sweet chili sauce on the side. They load it with tender beef cut perfectly so it’s not tough, load it with fresh veggies and egg. Rice is never dry. I’ve had the pad Thai also very good. This is one of those little gems tucked away that neighborhood people know about. Definitely give them a try.

I drove an hour to get Thai food because there is none where I live and I told them specifically not to give me anything spicy yet they did and they’re not even paying me back and their food is awful. Go somewhere else… if you want excellent Thai food go to Fort Myers. They have the best, but I will never go to this place again horrible.. now I’m out $38 and 15 for gas and I have no dinner because I cannot eat it because I have a medical condition which I told them seriously go somewhere else. Their food and the pad Thai was horrible. The peanuts were burnt. Couldn’t even eat that.

Excellent quaint spot for lunch! Thai Café is our go-to place when we want a quick lunch. The food is always delicious, the atmosphere is pleasant, and the service is consistently welcoming. A must-go if you enjoy Thai cuisine. A great value for the price as well!

If you’re craving authentic, flavorful Thai food, **Thai Cafe** is the place to go! From the moment you walk in, the cozy atmosphere and amazing staff make you feel right at home. The menu is packed with delicious options, but the **Pad Thai** and **Green Curry** were absolute standouts—perfectly balanced flavors with just the right amount of spice. The ingredients tasted fresh, and the portions are generous. Whether you’re dining in or grabbing takeout, Thai Cafe delivers an amazing experience every time!

This was our first visit to Thai Cafe. We love Thai food and I decided to change it up a bit to try this restaurant.

The staff was very friendly and attentive. They were genuinely happy to serve and did a great job.

We ordered the chicken satay for an appetizer. The portion was extremely small, but the flavor was very good.

My wife ordered the Basil fried rice with beef. Her first comment was that is was very oily. The flavor was okay, but she couldn’t take the excessive oil.

I ordered the Seafood mixed vegetable. The flavor was very bland and I could smell a strong seafood odor. I spiced it up with chili oil and powered through. Big mistake… A few hours later, after we got home, my body violently rejected the contents of my stomach. I spent the next several hours running to the toilet.

After receiving such great service, we may try this place again in the distant future. But, we will definitely steer clear of the seafood and fried rice. It could have been just one of those off nights for a restaurant, but the memory is there.

We have been going there for quite some time and never had a bad meal. The servers are always very nice. We tried other places just for a change and we always come back and ask ourselves why go anywhere else for Thai food

Excellent Thai restaurant. Really unique decor, food is very tasty and staff friendly and helpful. Menu has variety of choices but not so many that you wonder how they can offer quality. I had Drunken noodle with shrimp and my wife had Volcano Chicken on fire! We will go again, I guess is the best referral one can get.

Looking for the perfect spot for a date night? Or maybe just a casual Thai experience?
Here’s the best hidden Thai secret in Port Charlotte

This is the place to go!

The food is absolutely DELICIOUS!
The unique decor, and the awesome service are just a bonus. The staff really makes you feel like family here, even on your first trip!

Today we ordered a crab Rangoon appetizer- they were crispy, & very flavorful, served with sweet chili sauce; because it was lunch time we were also served chicken noodle soup.. – this was so inviting & the bean sprouts added to the freshness.

The pad Thai here is the best I’ve ever had!! Something about the tangy tamarind sauce with the crunchy bits of peanut & scrambled egg really make you want to go in for another bite!

We also tried the Shrimp Hot Pot- this was MY FAVORITE dish I’ve had from here so far…
The glass noodles were coated in a oyster and soy sauce mix over a bed of fresh vegetables. The shrimp were cooked to perfection, but the sauce with the glass noodles really paired very well !

This is my FAVORITE Thai place !!
