Really good pad Thai. More of a takeout place, dine in experience isn’t great, no printed menus or anything. No free water if dining in, forced to pay for a bottle of water. Credit card machine in the store is broken, forced to tip a set amount and unable to change it, buttons don’t work.

I would only get takeout. Ordering was easy and the food was ready on time. Family run.

My go to for Pad Thai in KW. Once you taste the egg, you’ll know why!! I also love how consistent their flavours and portions are. Really recommend!

Had a Tom yum soup which tasted nothing like Tom yum, not the broth or the vegetables. It was full of shredded carrots and bean sprouts

Best Thai Food in the Waterloo Region! Authentic cuisine, custom spiced to how you like it too! Hang and Tran are beautiful people preparing and serving delicious homemade recipes from their original home of Thailand! Tasty Pad Thai, and Curry Dishes on offer, plus so Tom Yum Soups, endless choices, highly recommend trying anything from their menu, we have for over 10 years and never been disappointed! Thank you for offering what you do best, we are blessed to have found your Bistro!

Best Pad Thai you’ll find in Kitchener. Great service, great food, great atmosphere. Family run, the young lady working there is so lovely. Highly recommend!

Love ordering here. Super Pad Thai. Have had a few different selections here. All have been super good. More a take out set up, which works because I live in the area. Yet still worth going out of your way for! Repeat customer.

Best Pad Thai I’ve ever had. It’s more of a takeout place, but we enjoyed staying in the bistro. Service was warm, welcoming and very personal. The lady is very pleasant and chatty. Her recommendation was spot on amazing! We got chicken Pad Thai. Would try everything off their menu.

Note: This is primarily a takeout/lunch spot. Not super fancy for a sit down dinner.

Pad thai here is exceptionally good. Might be slightly different than other places you’ve had but have an open mind. It’s a huge portion too!

I’ve had a few other things, fried rice, green curry. Those were also great, but portions were more normal.

Phone response at opening can be a bit spotty, but otherwise they answer quickly and prepare the food very quickly.

Really surprised at the low quality of our experience considering the 4.2 rating on Google Maps. A few issues that contributed to this rating, so that someone else might not make the same misjudgment that I did:

-While they have tables for sitting, this is essentially a lunch counter and not a restaurant. Despite asking to stay to dine, they packaged everything up in takeout containers as they don’t have dishes for serving. You order at the counter and pay in advance.
-They don’t have a physical copy of their menu available. We were directed to look up the menu on our phones. It seems like it would be easy to have a few sheets printed and tacked up on the wall with their menu options as a bare minimum, especially for those who don’t have a smartphone.
-Huge range of quality in the food. One dish was flavourless, one was too oily, and the last was good. Definitely not a consistent experience.
-The restaurant itself was freezing cold, like they had the thermostat turned way down, perhaps because they are not expecting people to stay and get comfortable.
-The floor was quite dirty, with chunks of road salt scattered throughout. It hasn’t snowed in a week at this point, which makes me wonder how long that salt has been sitting in the middle of the floor.
-While sitting in the restaurant over the lunch period (12-1pm), not a single other person entered the restaurant. This is not a complaint per se, but lack of traffic can be a red flag that people are avoiding a place.

I was really hoping to find a good sit-down Thai place, now that Bangkok Cuisine has removed their dining tables, but this is definitely not the replacement I was looking for.
