Got two entrees for take out. Upon opening, the noodles were sitting in an inch of oil. Found two nose hairs sitting on top of the food. One of the entree wasn’t seasoned at all, it tasted like oily wet noodles.
The food was edible, but would not recommend. I’m southeast Asian by the way, the amount of oil is not normal. From my photo, that’s the oil left AFTER we drained the oil from the dish.

The pad Thai and fried rice were so flavorful and delicious. Portions were large and the prices were very good. The mango sticky rice dessert was also amazing as the texture of the rice was perfect and the mango was sweet. It was some of the best mango I have ever eaten. Service was also very fast. The coastal atmosphere was also nice and the restrooms were very well maintained. Would definitely recommend.

Food was good and very reasonable priced. Menu is marked extremely well for dietary restrictions. I had the basil fried rice. Perfect amount of thai basil, not so much were it’s over powering and thats all you can taste. Will come back again next time in town.

UPDATE- We’ve been here 2 more times since my original review below. Each subsequent order has been prepared perfectly and tastes as good as previously ordered. These guys are consistent and know how to cook Thai food. Thank you Nam from Marco!!!
1st time at Thai Bay and it’s in my top 3 of any Thai restaurants we’ve eaten at! Called in a to go order at 4:30 for a 5:30 pickup. Food was being packed right when I got there, fresh & piping hot. Yellow Currie with chicken, Pad Hot Basil with beef, Pad Thai with chicken and shrimp. Every dish ordered was delicious, spiced (medium) perfectly and huge portions. Staying in Lincoln City for 2 months and we will be back before we leave. If you’re looking for Thai food, this is the place!

Typically I order online to go. Always arrive home with the correct items and they always offer silverware and napkins. We typically order Pad Thai Chicken, Pad Hot Basil chicken stor fry and love the Basil Shrimp Rolls appetizer.. The peanut chicken is always fantastic as well.

We went here on the recommendation of a local and were so glad we did!! Everything we ordered was fantastic. A taste sensation in every bite. We ordered the Peanut Sauce Curry, Pad Hot Basil ( my instant favorite) and Pad Cashew Nut. You can order spice levels from 1-5. We enjoyed them all so much, we wish we lived closer! The Crab Wontons were perfection. They were wrapped in thin dough and stuffed with cream cheese and crab. Fabulous! Highly recommend if your are in Lincoln City.

Greeted by a rude clerk girl. This restaurant is geared more towards take out. For dine-in, you order at the counter with the rude girl and grab your waters from her, then find a table. Food is mediocre at best. Then you have to bus your own table. When you pay at the counter, the credit card machine is set up to automatically leave them a tip. Which is pure ridiculousness since I have to do everything lol! Won’t be back.

This place is a great stop if you’re looking for some really yummy, reasonably priced and fast service Thai food. The ambience is quite nice, the food has decent portions. The owner/staff to are really nice. I thought was the fact that they don’t have dine in service was a bit odd. You place your order like a takeout at the counter, and you can eat out of boxes in a table (but I get it, staffing isn’t easy these days). I’d definitely go back here in spite of this quirk.

Thai Bay is the best Thai restaurant on the Oregon coast. A couple of my favorites are the Phad Thai and Panang curry. I occasionally add chicken satay or egg rolls depending on how hungry I am. Both are excellent.
