In terms of food, this is maybe one of the best Thai restaurants I’ve been to so far in NYC.
I had the pineapple fried rice with tofu ($16), and it was truly delicious.
My wife had the Pad Thai with shrimp ($18) and really liked it as well.
The place is not very big, maybe around ten tables, but you can tell they put a lot of effort into the decoration.
The staff is friendly and very efficient.
Just a small note: they don’t have hot coffee after the meal, only iced coffee.
I definitely recommend this place and will come back soon.
Everything was super tasty, and I was very satisfied with both dishes.
The staff were super kind too!
I passed by this restaurant on a Saturday night and it was packed. The place is relatively small but all the tables were full. I suppose that means the place is popular.
First of all, they didn’t pack the green curry well, it was spilled all over the bag. Good thing they gave me a plastic bag, otherwise it would have made a huge mess!
Secondly, the food was just okay. Let’s begin with green curry. It was spicy enough. It had nice amount of chicken. The flavor was nice, but the bamboo shoots were too fibrous, and the eggplant was too bitter.
I didn’t taste any basil flavor in the basil fried rice, and it was kind of bland.
The pad see-ew with shrimp and with beef were both too salty and too oily. The shrimps were a bit overcooked, too.
Overall, it was okay. I might come back and try their food in the restaurant. Maybe it tastes better right out of the kitchen.
This place is a bit tight but it makes the experience more intimate.
Curry is usually my go-to at most Thai places. I ordered it here, and it’s a familiar taste, but the fish.. I don’t like fish, but the fish here is more than palatable.
I don’t write reviews at all, but tonight, I sure am feeling fiery. So close to home too so it is of great convenience. No wonder people like to write reviews. I feel like my own column editor
We asked for spicy in the pineapple fried rice and they gave it a proper kick
A gem of thai food
