Definitely a great place to eat at or for take out.
The food is great they definitely don’t mess around when it comes to the spice level.
Service can vary depending on how busy it is like any restaurant but they are usually very quick.
And atmosphere is great for what the building use to be a boxing center when I remember it growing up to them remodeling into what it is now.
I think it’s awesome
Keep in mind this is a local family owned and it’s not a chain restaurant so your supporting local.

I had the yellow curry (spicy) and it was awesome – great flavor with just the right amount of heat, not overpowering at all. The service was excellent from start to finish. Highly recommend, and I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in Garden City.

My family loves Thai Arawan! Everything is absolutely delicious and they are quick! My favorites are Arawan Special, Beef and Broccoli, and Pepper Steak all with fried rice. We also really like the Pad Thai, Kra Pao, Pork Won Tons, and the Cream Cheese Wontons. The lunch special M-F can’t be beat!

Excellent flavors. Friendly staff. Maybe a little eccentric as there were little notes everywhere. But, they will bring the heat if that’s your thing. First time I went was a number of years ago and I got a spice level 3. (Note: spice levels start after mild, medium, and spicy) I was not prepared… this time I got a level 1 and that was much better, perfect amount of spice for me. Got the Arwan Special with steamed rice, summer rolls, and crab & cheese wontons. Summer rolls were average, but everything else was definitely worth the trip!

Great service! Eggs rolls were good and pineapple curry was delicious…fried rice on the other hand didn’t taste like the usual fried rice. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t fried rice. It was more like white rice with lots of pepper. And the Bubble Mango tea was bomb!

Four of us went here for supper, based on the good reviews. Each of us ordered something different (pad Thai, yellow curry, fried rice, etc) at varying spicy levels… and we were all very happy with our food! Delicious, nicely spicy, and everything we’d hoped for in good Thai food.

The restaurant is dark and a little run down.

Food was good and portions average. I had Mongolian Beef Medium heat with fried rice and chicken Satay. My wife had Chicken and Brocoli with fried rice and crab cream cheese wontons. For medium heat my Mongolian was pretty mild, but better than too hot. We were seated promptly and service was good.
Cleanliness needs some work. The wall at our table was covered in a large varity of food splatters. So was the wall at another table nearby.

I had the Pineapple Curry Shrimp and my wife had the Chicken Pad Thai. We tried the Egg roll and Fried Spring roll also. The food was fresh and flavorful. Great balance of spice and sweetness in the pineapple curry. The shrimp was cooked well and was a decent portion. The pad Thai was a smaller portion. The noodles were a little on the greasy side and could have used a little more flavor but overall was good.
