So delicious!
The dishes were fresh, full of flavour and beautifully presented.
What really stood out was the interior design — the chairs are very unique and stylish, and the whole restaurant is beautifully decorated.
The atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable, and the staff were very welcoming and attentive.
Definitely a place I would love to come back to and highly recommend to friends.
Remember to book a table first that give the view you want.
The Mixed Grill was a standout — juicy slices of beef and pork, crispy chicken, served with a creamy slaw and two tasty dipping sauces. It’s perfect for sharing and packed with flavor. Every bite had that smoky grilled goodness you’d expect.
The Larb Gai was fresh, zesty, and balanced beautifully with herbs, red onion, and just the right kick of spice. The cabbage added a nice crunchy contrast. Definitely one of the best larb dishes I’ve had in Melbourne.
I tried the Pineapple Fried Rice at Thai Alley and it absolutely hit the spot! The rice was perfectly cooked, lightly seasoned, and had a great balance of sweet and savoury.
Chunks of juicy pineapple added a refreshing sweetness, while the cashews and vegetables gave it a nice crunch. It also had just the right amount of curry flavour without being overpowering. Served in a pineapple shell, it looked amazing and tasted even better.
Great portion size and full of flavor — definitely recommend this dish if you’re after something unique and satisfying!
The ambiance was relaxed but stylish, staff were friendly, and the food came out quickly. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for quality Thai food done right. Will be back!
Duck curry – can highly recommend this dish, loved the tropical element as the lychee and pineapple within the dish complemented the curry and duck really well, additional cost to order rice on the side
Beef salad – some of the beef was a bit chewy, flavour was nice and balanced
Curry puffs – a solid entree dish, nothing spectacular about it, it’s a decent choice
Thai milk tea – was good but didn’t think it was good enough to justify the $8.50 pricing
Overall a superb meal but I thought the quality of the food was below the expectations for the price paid.
Expect to spend $25-35 for a main dish here. Expect to spend $30-50 per person here. Expect a card surcharge. 5% cash discount offered (minimum spend $40). No split bills.
Pad ka pai pork mice was delicious!
Spicy noodles are amazing!
Great atmosphere- the decor reminds me of the sarongs that sold in street markets in Thailand.
Having said that, the price is a bit expensive in my opinion. So, it’s more of a special occasion place to eat than regular dining.
Just to give an idea, over the years I’ve been ordering less and less variety as the price has gone up & up. The quality of food is really good though; don’t get me wrong.
Plenty of authentic Thai food to choose from. They also have a cocktail menu.
The restaurant is located outside the city but it is worth a visit because the food is very impressive, the staff are lovely and the seating is plenty and enough for a social gathering with friends. Highly recommended.
