First time trying Thai food. Curry had great taste, spice level was there. Fried calamari and shrimp tempura were so good and came with a delicious sauce! Beef soup with noodles super tasty! The mango sticky rice with ice cream is 1000/10!! Would go back just for that! Customer service was great, had both waiters check on us and ask frequently if we needed anything. It’s a must try! Very popular and gets packed fast!

I have been to dozens of Thai places and this place takes the cake!! 10/10 would recommend! Their Curry’s are so flavorful, the dumplings were incredible and the Drunken Noodle was so saucy and had incredible flavor. Definitely will be coming back!

I always eat Thai food when I visit a new city. I chose this restaurant because it had a high 4.5 star rating. I was disappointed. I typically order the same dish, pad si ew, and this was not a great version. No sauce to speak of, thin noodles that were dried out, uneven flavoring.
The coconut sticky rice was ok.
Ultimately, both ended up inedible.

Thai 208 is hands down one of my favorite spots to eat when I’m craving real, authentic Thai food. The flavors are always on point, the portions are generous, and you can tell everything is made with care. From the moment you walk in, you feel welcomed like family, and that kind of service is hard to find these days.

I’ve brought friends, family, and even clients here and every single time the experience has been consistent. Whether you like something mild or want that true Thai spice, they’ve got you covered. If you’re in East Idaho and haven’t tried Thai 208 yet, you’re seriously missing out.

Support local and go check them out. You won’t regret

Thai 208 began as a food truck as many good restaurants do. The food can occasionally slide over into being too sweet but I like how fresh the vegetables are and the curry is particularly delicious. I would recommend that you check them out. They are perfect for a date night, cozy friend get-together, or nice family night out to eat. You could also go just as easily on your own and take a good book.

It is worth going out of the way to enjoy the laidback atmosphere and have some delish Thai food.

Started out as a delicious food truck across from Reed’s Dairy but now they have a restaurant. Yeah, the food is that good! I have tried almost every item on their menu and have not found a dish yet that I didn’t fully enjoy. To top it all off, the owners are wonderful folks.

Today was our first visit to their restaurant (it just opened January 2024) and we were greeted right away. Since I had ordered ahead I took a seat at the counter and enjoyed a glass of water. While I was sitting there waiting for my order (less than 10 minutes) 3- 4 groups of people showed up (about 15 people), all were greeted and seated just like I was.

As you can see from the photo my meal looked amazing. But it tasted even better! I generally like my meals spicy (level 5 heat) but the rest of my family is in the zero spice club and every time we have ordered (food truck to the restaurant) our orders have been correct on the spice and the flavors are always on point! If you want some of the best food in Eastern Idaho with excellent customer service, I highly recommend eating at Thai 208.

Love Thai 208. Enjoyed going to the food truck but glad they have an actual restaurant now. I have loved everything I’ve tried so far. Would highly recommend but is definitely busy and takes a bit to get your food. Friendly service.

This place was really good and I’d definitely come back! We tried the cream cheese wontons and some spring rolls which were both delicious! They came with a sweet and sour sauce that we loved! We also got beef and chicken pad Thai. The portions were huge! And everything was very tasty, the beef seemed a bit chewy but the chicken was cooked perfectly. Very moist and flavorful. We will definitely be coming back!

I came here with a few people for lunch and we all had a good time. I couldn’t tell you what I ordered but it good and there were no complaints around the table. Everyone enjoyed what they ordered. Nice new spot in town for Thai food. Give them a shot if you haven’t been by already.
