Thad began making pizzas in 1982 and he cut his teeth at Florida’s original Little Caesars Pizza Treat on US1 across from UM. Thad continued to earn his pizza pedigree there when Caesars became Miami’s Best Pizza (MBP) in 1990. Thad became the “Face of MBP” and when it closed on US1 in 2015, he joined a group to reopen. Thad left that group because they couldn’t wrap their heads around the legendary pizza and its unbridled potential. Thad recently opened “Thads Pizza”, a really good old school, medium bodied pizza, baked well done. Thad is highly regarded and is referred to as a Godfather in the industry and an OG (Original Gangster) too. Thads Pizza is exceptional and authentic, making one really good pizza at a time.

If you love crispy, consistent, undefeated pizza, Thad’s Pizza is the place. I’ve been six times already, and every single visit has been perfect. The crust is always spot-on: thin, golden, and crackly in the best way. You can tell real care goes into every pie.
Thad himself is a Miami pizza legend,friendly, passionate, and clearly obsessed (in the best way) with his craft. You don’t just eat pizza here, you experience what happens when someone truly loves what they do.
This spot has officially ruined all other pizza for me. Crispy is king, and Thad is the crown-holder. Highly recommend!

The sauce tastes fresh and bright (not the heavy, sugary stuff), and the toppings are super high quality and generously layered without making the slice soggy.

This is hands down the best pizza in the area. I have had the pleasure of eating at Thad’s nearly every week since it’s been open. The quality and execution of the pies are flawless, I repeat FLAWLESS. I drove 45 minutes in the pouring rain to Thad’s Pizza for a reunion with my former colleagues at WTVJ earlier this week. The traffic was so bad, I almost turned back a few times. But I’m so glad I didn’t!
This hidden gem, tucked away in Kendall’s Kings Creek Plaza, was worth the drive from Broward. As a former New Yorker, I am somewhat of a pizza snob. Thad’s pizza didn’t disappoint. The variety of pies was outstanding, each with a unique flavor and fresh ingredients. Hot honey on pizza is my latest obsession, and I was especially delighted that it was included among the standard pizza topping choices of red pepper flakes and garlic powder.
