As you can see in the photos, the containers were not even filled properly. The quantity was very little, especially for the high price.
The taste was also not good. The chicken tasted like it was just boiled and the gravy was mostly salty with no proper flavour. The Palak Paneer also had very simple taste and did not feel fresh or rich.
Honestly, the food was not worth the money I paid. Very overrated for the price and quality. I expected much better…… Waste of money!!!!!!
Here is my response to your reply as you have added a security that people can’t reply you back.
Thank you for replying… but I still don’t agree
Just to clarify this wasn’t delivery. I came to your restaurant and collected it myself. I am not travelling on a horse or racing through a jungle with your takeaway So the “2cm gap to avoid spillage” excuse really doesn’t make sense.
People in Melbourne generally take their food home by car not horseback
So quantity should still match the price. If you want I am happy to share photos and names of other restaurants with proper quantity.
And taste has nothing to do with dine-in vs pick up.
If the gravy is salty and chicken tastes boiled it will taste the same whether I eat it inside or outside your restaurant.
I paid full price, so naturally I expected proper quantity + proper flavour.
Takeaway, dine-in or pick up quality should be consistent if not then rethink your pricing.
But thank you for replying hopefully next time just fill the container properly and let your customers worry about how they transport it
On one occasion, we ordered butter naan, but the naan served to us was soaked in oil instead of butter. When we raised the issue with the staff, they replaced it with plain naan instead, which was disappointing. This has happened more than once.
Another major concern is that whenever we request a thali, we are told it is not available. Considering the restaurant’s name specifically highlights “Thaali,” it is very disappointing that it is repeatedly unavailable. We experienced the same issue again during our visit last week — oily naan instead of butter naan and no thali available.
After repeated feedback and requests, there has been no improvement. During our last visit, I informed the staff that it would be my final visit due to these ongoing issues.
My only message to the owner is: please do not take your loyal customers for granted. Consistency in quality and service is very important.
