We visited TGI Fridays for Sunday dinner with a party of six. The food was good, but the service was very disappointing.
About 20 minutes after we placed our order, our waitress came back and said my boyfriend’s meal was no longer on the menu and couldn’t be ordered — even though it is still listed on the website and can be ordered online. She suggested something else but couldn’t even remember what came with it, and what was brought out looked like a random appetizer with chips, pretzels, and potato wedges.
We were also using a coupon for “buy an entrée and appetizer, get a free meal.” The waitress took the coupon, but after the mix-up we had to ask for it back because the replacement item wasn’t what we ordered. He ended up just asking for the buffalo wing basket instead.
Our food also took almost an hour to come out, which was frustrating.
To top it off, they added over a 20% service charge for our party of six, and the waitress said she doesn’t receive any of that.
The food itself was good, but the service and overall experience were not. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning.
Also all bathrooms stalls were not flushing and the floor was grossly sticky – they will be next to shut doors! They also gave us 2 menus for the entire table and didn’t have enough kid ones

It’s been years since I’ve had Friday’s. Back in the day, every time we went to Friday’s it was a horrible experience. My wife and I had a day date and walked around the mall and had lunch at Friday’s. The service was good. We got sat down right away. The selection leaves something to be desired. It was either burgers or something with their Whiskey Glaze. I went with a BBQ burger and my wife wanted the Aloha Chicken (I think that’s what it was called). Well they were out of the Aloha Chicken, so she ordered something else. My burger was cooked perfectly, the bun was toasted and it was a pretty burger. Weirdly it had no taste. I thought I was exaggerating and my wife tried it and there was very little flavor. It was pretty disappointing. The fries were really good and I would recommend them all day. The burger, not so much. My wife likes her chicken whatever, but was disappointed that they didn’t have what she walked. In the middle of the day, on a Friday. This visit changed the way we felt about Friday’s and we’ll be back. As a bonus warning, be careful with the forks. The end has 2 sharp corners on them. You may want to wear safety gloves.

Hadn’t been in a TGI Fridays in YEARS because the one where we used to live had closed down. Was so happy to find one not too far from our new home.
We need a booth ( bad back) and had to be seated in the bar area…. never my favorite, until now. Let me tell you, while the food was good, it paled in comparison to Kelley, the bartender. She is freaking amazing, funny, colorful, and truly engaged and caring about her customers. She was also the most attentive and fast server we’ve ever had ANYWHERE! She made the visit great, and we plan on going there on a regular basis, and sitting in the bar area!

First time ever eating TGI Fridays.
Ordered the chicken and shrimp platter. Got the equivalent of a $4 frozen meal I can get at the supermarket, with a side of instant mashed potatoes, and a cup of mediocre iced tea, for a ridiculous $30!
I wanted to tip the waiter so bad, i always try to tip but I just couldn’t. Kept us waiting while he small talked with other customers, at the outrageous prices im sorry tips are not automatic anymore for me. It’s just too much for the food. Needless to say it’s the last time I ever eat at this ripoff brand.

My meal was great!
My husband steak was not.
Why didn’t we complain to them during our meal you may wonder? Because it’s not always the prep it’s likely the quality of the meat. If you go wanting steak, this isn’t the top 5 choices. It definitely is my go to place for ribs.
Our server did amazing getting my husband his salad out right away to help him stay on his meal schedule.
Later she brought mine out with thoughts I might want mine before my hot meal comes out. She NAILED it. If only others were like her in all restaurants.

Had a private dining experience at TGI Fridays on a Sunday evening. Our server was Kelly and she was so welcoming and attentive. She made sure our drinks stayed full and as soon as the food came out she brought it out right away while it was still hot. She was extremely nice and didn’t try to rush us out even though we got our food when there was an hour before close.

Food was excellent. Service left a lot to be desired. The bartender was extremely overwhelmed at 2 o’clock on a Monday.. I went without drink refills or napkins throughout my whole visit. And it took entirely too long to receive the check and process payment.

When I got here they was really nice. It did take them forever to bring me my alcohol drink and it was post to have Rum in it and it didnt have it in it. When they finally brought me my food that me and my friend was sharing. The frys was really cold , the cheese burgers was really good but the loaded tots was so burnt that it looked like pulled pork. I really hate to complain because i am fast food service myself but I had to say something to them. It really sucked that I had to do that around the holidays but when you have to wait for almost an hour when they wasn’t that busy is kind of insane.

Always a fun place. One of my favorite places to eat in Evansville. Food is always hot and delicious. Plenty of food for the price. I love how they change their menu up so I never get bored. Servers are always in a good mood and the cook Luis is the best.
