Playing with fire since 2015! Founded by native Texans in 2015 (Brian is from Houston and Jennifer is from Amarillo) who transferred to Louisiana and then Oklahoma while working in the oil and gas industry, TexLaHoma BBQ was born. The couple started catering BBQ out of their home to make ends meet during an ebb in the energy field, eventually buying an existing barbecue joint from a widow after her husband passed, renovating it and building a new smokehouse. Seeing a gap in the market for Texas- style barbecue, the couple added the spice of Louisiana and opened with one smoker serving only sandwiches. Since then, Texlahoma has been through six smokers and has added a car hauler converted into a food truck trailer, and now a second location

If you are in town this is a great spot to grab some great bbq. Bacon burnt ends are definitely a must try. The brisket is tender and still juicy not dry. Daughter had pulled pork sandwich; said it tender and really good. Friendly warm employees helped us out of towners choose some local favorites. Had a great chat with Jake. He was pretty amazing! This is a great little gem and worth the visit. If I was a local, this would be on my regular rotation. Do yourself a favor and stop in because no one wants to do dishes tonight anyway!

I will say the staff was very friendly an helpful. I ordered the sliced brisket sandwich an fries with 2 ribs. The brisket sandwhuch was very flavorful an very moist. The ribs were very juicy an fell off the bone perfectly cooked. The fries were very good all so they were cooked an prepared perfect. I recomend this place I love trying different bar b q joints this was on the top of my list.

The sliced brisket and chicken were so tender and beautifully seasoned. They have 4 sauces, if you are a sauce person, and I thought they all tasted great. First place I’ve ever been where I didn’t have to ask for my okra fried “extra crispy.” It was perfect. Also, so you know, the beans are on the savory side, instead of the sweet side, but that’s okay, because if you like them sweeter, add some sauce. I’m not in OKC often, but will definitely go there again! Great BBQ!!

My son and I came here today because he loves to try different BBQ. He got the chopped brisket sandwich and fries . He tried the ribs and said they were fall of the bone and very good. I Got the baked potato with queso and chopped brisket it was very good. I would come back and try something new.

First time here and it won’t be our last. Brisket, jalapeno sausage were amazing. Mac and cheese, fries (some of the best I’ve had) and street corn were delicious. Clean, fast and friendly. Highly recommend.

I’m an AL girl and absolutely love this place! Highly suggest the Brisket it has the perfect crisp cap and Juiciness; competition worthy! The Bacon burnt ends were a pleasant surprise! Usually those come pretty dry in other places but these were absolutely amazing; juicy and tender. Only thing that would make the Burnt ends better is bourbon! Keep up the good pit work!

We got the pulled pork & burnt ends and they were both so juicy and flavorful, the smokieness was just perfect!! The bbq sauce enhanced the flavor rather than carrying the meat if you know what I mean. The mac and cheese was so moist and cheesy, I did add salt and pepper but just cause im a pepper girl !! Sweet Tea was also PERFECT!!

The Butler Potatoe which is essentially a loaded baked potato that is over flowing with multiple kinds of meat and covered in a white queso cheese which was delicious but has a slight kick to it. There was so much there that my wife and I were able to split it. Honestly if you are wanting to sample there multiple meat options then The Butler Potato is the way to go.
The staff were friendly, patient and informative. You order at the counter and they bring the food to your table when it’s ready. The tables and interior were clean. Their fountain drinks are bottomless and their BBQ sauce is decent. They even had advertised that they carry Alabama White BBQ sauce. Lastly a wheelchair is capable of maneuvering around the restaurant.

It was a long drive for me to get there but well worth the drive. The meats are delicious and tender. The service is excellent; Tyler was very hospitable and went the extra mile to make sure I had a great experience. I will be back!

My coworker recommended this restaurant. The ribs were very tender, baked beans were okay, and the okra was so fresh and crunchy. I got the mild sauce but it wasn’t very tasty to me. The customer service was good and I didn’t have to wait too long in the drive-thru. I will give it another try over the next month to tryout the $10 sandwich and side special.6/8/23 I went back to tryout the $10 sandwich and side special. I can’t believe any employee/cook would give someone a burnt bun like the pictures I’ve included. The okra was fantastic and hot. I’ll never go back again.
