Kinda off the beaten path but we’ll worth it.
Sausage and brisket with green beans and potato salad. Turkey brisket and fries. 2 drinks 35 dollars. Condiments on the side. It was all delicious. We were here Saturday 02/28/26 at lunchtime and there was plenty of seats available.
Great job guys, we will be back

A True Texas BBQ Experience!
From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. Now, the food: the brisket is the star of the show. Perfectly smoked, tender, and packed with rich, smoky flavor, it practically melts in your mouth. The seasoning is just right – enough to enhance the flavor without overpowering it. Every bite had that signature BBQ balance of smoky, savory, and slightly sweet.
Overall, Texas Star BBQ delivers not only on taste but also on service and cleanliness. Whether you’re a BBQ lover or just craving some comfort food done right, this place is worth every visit.

The brisket was unbelievably tender, smoky, and packed with rich, melt-in-your-mouth flavor—easily one of the best I’ve ever had.
The restaurant’s warm atmosphere, attentive service, and beautifully presented dishes made the entire dining experience absolutely exceptional.

Great food, service, and atmosphere. Wasn’t busy at all on a Sunday evening. So food was fast. The potato salad didn’t have many potatoes, the rolls were super good…way tastier than they looked. Banana pudding was delish. Chicken was hard to eat given there were so many bones in the portion I got, but overall a delicious BBQ place. Would recommend.

Sorry to leave such an honest but brutal review. I visit here on February 20th.. Brisket was dry and plain. No seasoning or anything. Green beans were awful, no butter, salt or anything. Taste just like they boiled them served them. Mac and cheese was so watery and taste like nursing home food, just plain and nasty. I’m sorry guys but you all should be ashamed. Please take consideration in cooking the food. Also the guy who took my order rung me up and then used the same gloves to pick up a slice of bread and toasted it and put in on plate.. smh sanitation is a must.. I’m not eating here EVER!

Great bbq. You can smell it’s going to be good when you first walk in. The brisket is delicious and tender. Sausage and ribs are great too. We also had the pulled pork and chicken. I’d recommend the sweet bbq sauce if you don’t already know your preference. We also had potato salad, Mac and cheese, and slaw. We left very full and happy.

Picked up food for a work meeting and was not disappointed! Friendly and great taste.
The brisket was delicious. The bark was awesome. Well balanced flavor between smoke, meat, and seasoning. The potato salad was my favorite! The beans were the bomb! Sausage was also delicious. The gentleman behind the counter was friendly and professional. Nothing dry about the brisket… as the previous comment mentioned. It was moist and tender.

Fantastic customer service, delicious BBQ. Very clean restaurant and great setup for condiments like pickles, jalapeños, onions, and peppers. We ordered the family pack #4, and all 8 of us were completely full with a little amount of leftovers. We had the moist brisket, sausage, coleslaw, potato salad, baked beans and macaroni and cheese with dinner rolls. Finally, we had the peach cobbler and ice cream. We had a great time celebrating a Birthday! They were busy and had lots of carry out orders.

Opening a BBQ spot in Texas is as risky as opening a tex-mex place. You really must know what you’re doing to succeed. Unfortunately in this instance, the flavor of the meat is there however, the brisket and ribs were dry. The sausage has good flavor but no bite. The beans were good, but potato salad and macaroni and cheese were watery and lacked flavor. The spicy sauce and rolls were good and the service was also good. It wasn’t awful by any means, but there are much better options. I would likely not return. As a local spot I really do hope it works out for them.
