Texas Roadhouse is famous but this was actually my first time trying it. The value for the price is good, though I think the food could be better. I ordered the filet mignon and it was a bit tough, and I asked for medium well but it came out well done. Our server was friendly but the place was so crowded that it took almost 20 minutes to get a bread refill, and the whole atmosphere felt a little hectic.

It was an insane wait, HOWEVER I felt zero stress from the bar staff when we jumped in for a drink, during our wait. (We had minors so we could not stay at the bar). Our steaks were seasoned and seared perfectly. The waitress was great. Nice touch, they gave us fresh to go drinks!

okay steak place for me. steak was good, not bad at all, and the service was really friendly and cute at that time. Personally, the cinnamon butter wasn’t my favorite, but I enjoyed saving the sweet potato fries as a little dessert. Overall, a decent spot to try!

my visit to Texas Roadhouse on February 12. I’ve always had positive experiences at this location, so this visit was very disappointing. Our server, Layla, was training a new server, and throughout the meal both of them were noticeably inattentive and dismissive toward our table. They rarely checked on us, did not ask about refills, and skipped past our table multiple times while being friendly and attentive to nearby tables. When we asked for our checks and to-go boxes before our food arrived, it was because we had been waiting without communication. When our food finally came out, part of the order (rice) was missing, and we had to stop them as they walked away to have it corrected. When the rice was brought back, it was placed on the far side of the table without any acknowledgment. We were also told we could not receive additional rolls, yet another server later brought us rolls and treated us very kindly. The shrimp I received appeared undercooked, which was concerning.
I’ve never had a negative experience at Texas Roadhouse before

The steak was good, it had a nice grill to it on the outside and the meat was really tender. The Mac and cheese and baked potato were also delicious. It is always packed during weekends though.

First, they still don’t have rolls after 3 years. 5 people at our table, only served 4 rolls. Then when we asked for more rolls, the waitress said she would keep checking and they were behind making them. She never checked, we asked again and she said the same thing. About 30 minutes later and watching other waitresses grab rolls for their tables, we asked again. The waitress said this was the last time we would ask and that she would not give us any more rolls because we asked too any times. We were cut off from asking. Oh it gets better, the waitress that brought out our 4 steaks didnt know which one was cooked at what temperature so we had to play cut and guess. Then we had one that was supposed to be medium rare, my wife asked if it could be cooked a little more and the waitress was very upset by the request. She did cook it for another 20 minutes, but that didnt really move the meter. Not sure if it just sat back in the back. Next we asked a manager for rolls and she brought us two baskets in about 2 minutes. We arent done still, we had ordered a to go order and asked the waitress how long it looked like till it was complete and she said she had no idea and would check in on it periodically. No drink refills at all, she didnt even ask. When she raised her voice at my wife the last time, I almost lost it but managed to keep my cool and not make a scene. The bad part is we had family come in from out of the country on my wofe sode who had never been to the states before. My wofe really wanted to impress them with America, we were trying to give them a good steak and try to show off JBLM. Needless to say, that did not happen. Oh, and the steak, zero seasoning. I got the hint that the waitress was not happy originally just because when we changed orders on sides upfront at initial order, she wasnt happy. Some of that was due to my in laws not understanding English at all and us translating. I would recommend not going here, it doesnt live up to the reputation it has in other states. Lastly, I left too big a tip because people need to feed their families and I would have felt guilty leaving nothing. The service was a zero, kitchen was a zero, and excuses a 10, rudeness was a 10. I dont think one time we didn’t say thank ypu or please, or no issue. We were not combative at all, but our waitress was in attack mode from the onset. Oh, don’t get the mac and cheese, old and been sitting. Water and baked potato was great though.

This is the BEST experience we have so far at Texas Roadhouse, our server Amie is sweet and humor. We order 20 oz rib eye steak. The meat is so juicy and tender! It melted in the mouth. Love it!

Texas Roadhouse was packed but worth it! The food was tasty, everything came out hot and fresh. The service was very slow but friendly. It’s loud and busy like usual, but that’s part of the vibe. Rolls are amazing, although they apparently had a “shortage” last time. Not the best, but always dependable.

The Texas Roadhouse at Lewis-McChord is okay but pricey . I did not find the food any better than for example like Outback or Jimmy Mack’s Roadhouse. Pretty similar. My steak was okay but everyone else’s was not as ordered.
This was our first experience and I always give a place two tries.
