We arrived around 4 PM on a Saturday hoping to avoid the busy dinner crowd, but the restaurant was already filling up quickly. Even so, we were seated without much of a wait, which was a great start to the visit. Not long after sitting down, a basket of hot, freshly baked rolls was brought to the table, and they were absolutely delicious. The rolls alone are one of the reasons people keep coming back, and they definitely lived up to their reputation.
When our meals arrived, the steaks were cooked perfectly and were incredibly tender and flavorful. Everything about the meal felt well prepared and satisfying. The service throughout the visit was attentive and welcoming, and the staff made sure our table was taken care of. From the food to the service, the entire experience turned out to be wonderful and made for a very enjoyable evening.

Honestly not the best food on earth. I got a hamburger and my fries were dry. The buns were good and our waiter was amazing. You can definitely have a great time here, maybe just ask for fresh fries. I just didn’t. And my burgers was a bit soggy from all the sauce. Which I could have asked on the side. That’s why I’m leaving a 4 star. I’ve been here twice and maybe there are some great things on the menu but unfortunately I keep ordering what isn’t the greatest I guess. Great view outside.

Always have a good experience at Roadhouse. On a carnivore diet right now and have eaten at two different locations this week and both were very accommodating. Requested a bowl of eggs and a steak. Yeah I know, the presentation of the plate lacks, but the steak was 5 star and just what I needed for my diet.

We go here very often. You can never go wrong here. Drinks are really good too! Family friendly. There is a bar if you are single and or just want to sit Bar top. I put 4 stay because the food is really good… but, sometimes the steaks aren’t up to par. I do like that they wait for you to test it before they walk away, so deeply appreciate that. ❤️ Staff has always been super sweet and willing to help.

Did a call in for Mother’s Day dinner for a party of 8 – we arrived at the restaurant and was seated 1 hour and 30 mins later. Understandable as it’s the busiest time of year for restaurants (everyone has a mom to celebrate). Waitress did an outstanding job making sure drinks were filled and rolls kept coming. Food was good. Overall, everything was fine considering how busy they were.

My husband and I haven’t eaten at this location, in others several times throughout our relationship. We make a habit of having a date night at least once a week. And at least once a month, if not twice a month, this would be our place of choice. We always have good food.Good service and a great time. We had our last date night on a tuesday evening, they were steadily busy. We received great service, delicious food. It was hot, prepared the way that we asked and a lot of it. So we took home leftovers, of course. I just wanted to say thank you to the staff that was on duty that night. Unbeknownst to any of us, that was the last date night I will ever have with my husband because he passed away suddenly & unexpectedly the following evening. That last date night with my best friend will be forever etched in my mind as a great one. Thank you to all of staff for providing us with an amazing last date night❣️

We arrived at 4pm on a Saturday to try to beat the dinner rush. They were already pretty full but we were seated quickly. Hot fresh rolls arrived immediately. No one beats Texas Roadhouse rolls!
Steaks were tender and perfect.
Everything was wonderful from the service to the baked potato.
Though the kids meal steak was a bit over seasoned for growing pallets who thought it was spicy, But it made for excellent breakfast with eggs the next morning!

Food is usually excellent, but tonight was mediocre at best; steak was half the thickness of what the picture shows and overcooked; two other steaks at the table ordered medium rare were barely pink; we had a large group (11) so called ahead to get set up for a table (they only take one group that large per hour); table wasn’t ready when we arrived – not an issue as that is hard for a restaurant to control, but when we were seated, at two different tables, we asked to move to a closer table when it became available. The hostess said she thought it would be okay but would need to check; when the table became available, it was immediately set up for another party; the first time anyone came by that I could ask was another hostess seating a couple. I told that waitress we were wanting to move to that table, got a bit of a lecture about how seating for 11 works, but she did say she would check and I believe did follow up. Meanwhile I spoke to the gentleman at the table to ask if they would mind switching with us as the table next to them was my family and we were out to celebrate my birthday; he was very gracious and said they’d be happy to switch and was glad I asked. I sought out the first hostess to see if anything needed to be done with the tabletop terminals and was told we couldn’t make the switch because the table was left empty for 8 minutes so they thought I didn’t want to move. For most of that 8 minutes, the table was still dirty. She said we were supposed to move as soon as that party left, even though she had never come back and verified that the (staff) were okay with us moving. Apparently, we were supposed to just know, and were supposed to move to the dirty table. I told her I’d spoken with the gentleman and he was happy to make the switch and got a lecture from her chastising me for speaking to another guest – her words were that guests aren’t allowed to speak to other guests, that they (the staff) would take care of that – except of course they didn’t.
With all the issues around the seating, I expected someone from management to stop by and just say, Hey, sorry for the confusion, are we good? But if there was any management on site, I wouldn’t know.
The bright spot of the evening was Brooke, our waitress, who took everything in stride, with a smile, and provided excellent service. We very much appreciated her, so our tip did not reflect our disappointment in the other factors.
Overall, Texas Roadhouse went from one of my top 3 restaurant picks to . . . I probably won’t go there again, but I limit that to the one in Blue Springs. I won’t hold what happened there against the one in Lee’s Summit or elsewhere.
