My boyfriend and I enjoy coming here at least once a month. Service is good. Food is consistently delicious, and the once – and only time – I mentioned to our server that my steak was a little over cooked, the manager came out and apologized/comped my meal. We did not expect that at all, but it made us feel valued. We’ll be back in again soon!

This use to be my favorite restaurant, but not anymore after my last visit. My husband and I got food poisoning.. The steak wasn’t cooked to our liking, the mashed potatoes were way too buttered down and too chunky, the rolls weren’t cooked all the way, the sweet tea wasn’t sweet. Our silverware was dirty. The waitress wasn’t very friendly, barely checked on us and didn’t even give us refills. Terrible service! That’s not how you run a business.. We won’t be returning.

Food was great, as always. Service…..not so much. I was seated very quickly, as it was before rush hour (4:30). Waitress was having a bad day, I guess……had an obvious attitude from the beginning. I ordered my dinner & a beer. My salad arrived, no beer. Finished my salad, no beer. Finally managed to flag down my waitress, and inquire……I got a blank look, then a flippant ‘OK’. About the time my entree came out, the beer finally arrived. No checks by Ms. Attitude that my order was OK, might I want another beer, or any communication whatsoever. Paid cash, and poor service deserved a poor tip. Not typical of TX Roadhouse, where I have dined at many times in many cities.

The last 5 times we have attempted to come it has been terrible service, long wait times, and the food is not good. We kept giving it another chance but decided yesterday was our last time trying. We arrived with a large group ready to eat and spend money on food. The parking lot was not even half full and we could see open tables from the door. We were quickly informed it would be an hour or more wait time. We had tried to join the online waitlist but it will only allow you to do that for 6 people. Last time we ordered to go and our food was terrible. My steak was pretty much raw and our order was wrong. We used to love coming to both locations in Edwardsville and Springfield but I’m not sure what is going on with it. It will be a long time before we try again.

Me and my girlfriend come to this Texas Roadhouse all the time. The food is always great and the service is always excellent. The staff there is one of the best of where we go to eat. Highly recommend!

Thanks to Alexaundria, our server, for a great dinner experience! The service was fast, friendly, and the food was delicious. She brought extra rolls (which our grandson was quickly devouring). She followed up by making sure we had to go containers. We will be back again soon!
