I had such a great experience at the Texas Roadhouse in Madison Heights. Our server, Lashana, was absolutely wonderful—so beautiful, kind, and incredibly professional. You can tell she really knows what she’s doing. She was attentive without being overbearing, made great recommendations, and made sure everything was perfect throughout our meal.
The food came out hot and delicious, and the service from start to finish was smooth and welcoming. Lashana truly made our visit special. We will definitely be coming back!

haven’t been here in 7+ years due to a few bad experiences in the past. Decided to give another chance and overall enjoyed my time there even tho it wasn’t perfect.
Upon walking in we had to wait 5+ mins to be seated. They said we had to wait for a seater to seat us. It was 3pm so it wasn’t busy. A bunch of employees at the front desk talking and on their phones while we waited. Once we sat down, our waitress was great! Very friendly and attentive. Bread rolls were fresh and hot and food didn’t take too long to come out. Very tasty!

TLDR: Steaks came out way undercooked and it was handled poorly by management. Service was amazing.
The steaks were raw the first time and the attempted fix made them worse. Everything else was great honestly. The service was amazing. I believe her name was Sarah but that was genuinely some of the best service I’ve had at a restaurant and it deserves to be said. It was way above the bare minimum, especially for being Texas Roadhouse, and I have only great things to say.
When the steaks came out, they both were cooked to what I would generously say rare. I don’t really mind some variance when I order medium rare but my girlfriend orders medium and doesn’t want something cooked more rare and she shouldn’t have to. Her medium 8oz Sirloin came out rare at best and she didn’t want to eat it. My 23oz Porterhouse was undercooked as well but I thought it was fine at first and was going to power through. The first half was roughly rare but edible but the second half was barely seared and so we said something to our server.
Our server took our plates and said they’d fix it. It took 20 minutes or so for the food to come back so I kind of assumed at some point that they were remaking our steaks. I had eaten half my steak before I got to the completely raw side of the bone so I didn’t think I necessarily deserved a totally new steak but my girlfriend hadn’t taken a bite and absolutely deserved a remake. Either way, both our steaks came out completely overcooked and inedible. The manager, who smelled like an ashtray, and was in and out so quick I couldn’t get a word in or see his name, simply dropped them off and said “let’s try this again” and walked away. I wish I would have taken more pictures but I attached a picture of what medium rare looks like to the manager after they “fixed” it.
Our server ended up getting 10 dollars off the bill but it was still over 80 dollars after tip. You’re surely losing money giving ~20 percent off mains so why not just remake the steaks properly instead of a consolation prize and us still leaving with a totally negative experience? I didn’t want money off or people to bend over backwards. I wanted a properly cooked meal and a full bill. It’s a chain restaurant and obviously you only hope for so much but this was a bad experience and I can only hope there’s some accountability, somewhere. somehow.

Our server Bree was AMAZING! She was kind, polite, attentive, and professional! She anticipated our needs and not once ever lost the smile on her face. The food was outstanding! This provided wonderful dining experience, even the Manager was polite and kind.

The corn tasted as if it came straight out of a can! The salmon was ok and the mash potatoes were lukewarm. I had the green beans which were ok (better than the corn & I had to pick around the green beans). They unfortunately forgot the fries and when they finally brought them out they were cold. Our waitress was not bad the food just wasn’t the best. Very disappointed because I was expecting this to be a celebratory luncheon for my mother’s birthday.

I visit this location often. Was disappointed tonight in the service. I ordered a legend margarita and what I received was . Barely any salt and the taste was just not good. My husband margarita had so much ice, 4 sips and he was done. We had 8oz drinks. The best thing was the steak, thankfully. My waiter was and was not trying to make an effort on request like we have received before like bringing the order of chili out before the meal as we received before.

So very bummed out we don’t get to eat here but once every few years and the 1 time we save up enough to come for our daughters birthday, the only reason we chose here.. for my daughter to get their potato skins and we get told they are OUT…. my daughter almost cried…. the manager really needs to know how to properly put in their orders so that this kind of stuff does not happen!!!! Also my hubby and I both ordered a 6oz sirloin both said med well and I got a well done steak and he go med rare steak wth such a disappointing trip out for us. We usually go to novi or Westland and have never had this awful of an experience. Also our waitress never asked us if we were satisfied after she knew we were already upset our daughter didn’t get her tater skins. We were not even offered dessert which we were going to order since we came for our daughter’s bday and she never offered for them to sing for her either and she had to listen to 2 other ppl get sung too…

Everyone was nice from the moment we walked in. My steak was cooked AND seasoned to perfection. Our server, Tanae was so nice and attentive. My apologies if I misspelled her name. But I will definitely be back. I had a taste for a good steak and they delivered!!

My order was beef tips with gravy, accompanied by rice and fresh vegetables. The beef tips were tough and the gravy needed more seasoning, not necessarily salt. The fresh vegetables were hard. I expected tender crisp . What I got was truly fresh with no seasoning at all. The rice was ok. The best part of my meal was the rolls. They were absolutely delicious. They were light and fluffy and the honey butter was the icing on the cake. The waitress was on point.

Take out order. Initial pickup, not satisfied with the takeout employee. The young gentleman was fairly accommodating, but rude when asking for what was not in the order which should have been. However, when contacting back and having an order fixed the manager Ann and the young woman that worked the front counter, Izzy were especially fantastic with the service they provided in fixing the situation. The star ratings that were given were not in regards to Ann or Izzy. I would give them a 5 star review for how kind and respectful they were in fixing the order. If it wasn’t for the kind accommodation those two women provided me and my significant other would not be returning, but we will because of them.
