Awesome customer service! Jake, the server, and the manager went above and beyond to make sure I had a great experience. Everyone was attentive, friendly, and made me feel valued. I’ll definitely recommend this place to others!
Last weekend, my husband and I didn’t feel like driving the extra time to Dyer so we decided to give Crown Point a second try. I won’t get into detail. The whole experience was terrible and we will never try that location again.
We decided to go to Dyer location yesterday for an early dinner. Our server was Alena (I hope I spelled it right!) Even though they were so busy.. she was phenomenal!!!! From the moment we sat down, to when we left. She was fast, attentive, funny, and very professional. She is good at what she does. I told her about Crown Point towards the end of our dinner and told her how amazing she was. Texas Roadhouse is lucky to have her. We will always be at this location because the service and food is always great!
Unfortunately, the experience before being seated was very disappointing. From the moment my family and I arrived, we didn’t feel welcomed at all. We had call-ahead seating and received the text to come in, but after checking in, we were told to wait and ended up standing there another 10 minutes while several groups (who arrived after us which were white) (we’re black) were seated immediately. When I asked about our table, the host gave attitude and brushed me off.
When we were finally seated, our table wasn’t clean. There were food, crumbs, and butter were still left on it. When I asked for it to be wiped again, the person doing it sighed and seemed annoyed. On top of that, the bread that came out was almost burnt, though Mikala quickly brought fresh ones without hesitation. I asked her for a top for the butter she brought out fresh bread to go plus the top. 🙂
Overall, Mikala made the experience worth staying, but the front staff and initial service definitely need serious improvement in hospitality and professionalism.
