UPDATE 8-7: Manager called to apologize and sounded condescending. Tried to sound nice but had a total attitude towards me. We also had ordered rolls when it first opened and they were terrible and we were promised a coupon and never got one. She said we get a 20% off coupon for next time. There won’t be a next time with that attitude. Roadhouse is a personal favorite for me, but this location doesn’t have “it” yet. This was my second time trying this location and it was pretty bad. Ordered medium rare and got closer to medium well. Chewy steak and cold chili. I don’t understand why it’s not warm? I asked for it to be warmed up and they took it and brought me a second cold one. Our server was great and the place looks nice. But the quality was way low.

The lot is always full but the service is so great they keep everything running well. The food is good and this a great addition to Marietta. If you don’t want meat they do have steamed vegetables and baked sweet potatoes to fill you up.

Went in at 5pm. Everything I tried to order, they were out of. I wanted the prime rib and sides. I wound up with the rib appetizer and water. I asked if the ribs were fresh and they were not, they were very dry. I even asked for extra barbecue sauce on them man. They came out looking very dry. I got the fries with it and I asked for a side of blue cheese dressing to dip my fries in and got a thing of ranch. Are waitress had a personality like a cactus. I know it’s the holidays in the team. Members are overwhelmed. However, I go out to eat often and tip extremely well but this kind of service makes me want to not even go out.
How can you be out of so many items.
Prime rib. Any size….

Road Kill 10oz pork steak…
And then have no conscious about serving dry looking ribs and not even reading the order making them extra wet.
So very disappointed in this visit. It was my first time to the Marietta location. This was my hometown for over 30 yrs and coming to visit and seeing this place grow was great but man alive this was a let down. No wait as we had reservations make earlier that day.

The “Food” category here gets 3 stars NOT because the 14 Oz Ribeye wasn’t good…..it gets the 3 stars because that’s not the food we wanted. To be OUT OUT OUT of Prime Rib at 16:00 on F-A-T-H-E-R-S DAY is absolutely inexcusable. Mgr of course stopped by to pull the ticket from our table to ask how everything was, and came across as very disinterested in my complaint. She started citing her app where she can check last years number which of course weren’t available for this new location. DUH! Make too much!!! When you are getting $26 a hit, you can afford to have some left over. While I never ever engage in trying to “shake down” a place for freebies, it would have been good table manners to have offered a free desert or something like that as comp, buy no such gesture was proffer. Well, we will be back probably in a year, if they make it that long. Whoever built this probably didn’t know that Marietta had both a Bonanza and a Ryan’s, both of which failed. This will fail too. There’s not enough $$$ sloshing around in this valley for a $70 tab for 2 people. The price range of $20 – $30 per person was for drinking WATER.

My husband and I went for dinner tonight. Sat for 20 minutes without drinks or the rolls. Of course we’re not going to say anything because the waiter looked busy. Finally got our drinks and took our order. Still no rolls. 10 minutes later I stopped him to ask for rolls and got them. Then our food comes out. My steak was raw. Not a little undercooked, I mean completely raw. Our waiter never came to check on us once. I had to yell at a different waiter and ask him to take it back and fix it. Moments later the manager brought it out and it was fixed. Got our bill and they up charged us for our Texas combo meals. He came back out and said all they could do is take $5 off our bill. Paid $50 for food not even worth it. Our waiter never asked how anything was or if we needed anything. Awful service, and that’s hard for me to say because I’m a server myself. We will not be coming back.

Good steakhouse. Cozy and quaintly furnished. The staff are very friendly and the menu is varied. The quality of the food is very good. The meat deserves a special mention. Unfortunately, we had to wait a little longer to be seated, but that speaks for the restaurant.

Food sent back to be warmed. We had bought gift cards at the Charleston WV store last week . I give them to pay for our meal. The mgr comes and says they can’t except because the cards were not signed by Charleston store mgr like that’s my fault. We had receipt where we had purchased, she said she would except this time. We have been at this location twice. Had issue the first time. There will not be a third. Going out to eat is supposed to be a nice experience. Totally disappointed with this place!

We had a TERRIBLE experience here last night. We got there and got a text message saying our table was ready. When we got inside they told us to wait by the sign. We stood there and waited for the hostess to seat us for 5 more minutes. When we finally sat down our table was missing the peanuts. We waited another 5 minutes for a waitress. When we got the rolls they weren’t buttered. We got our appetizers (tater skins + cactus blossom) the tater skins looked like they were overcooked and then sat forever to the point the cheese wasn’t even melty anymore. The cactus blossom tasted like it was over cooked, then cooled off, then re fried like leftovers. While eating our apps a girl came to our table with a salad (we didnt order a salad) she said sorry and we shook it off. No biggie. Then she came back again 5 mins later with 2 entrées that also weren’t ours. She shook her head and angrily walked away. She apologized again. Then we got our food. I asked the girl for extra butter and sour cream. I waited for 15 minutes to get that and had to ask someone else to get it for us to which she replied oh she probably forgot about it. My steak was cooked medium well – well done (I ordered medium rare) when they brought my replacement out it had a ton of gristle and I couldn’t eat a lot of it. My husbands steak was cooked medium well and he ordered medium rare. He didnt get a replacement because we were already fed up at this point. The waitresses and hostesses were all talking to eachother in little circles, almost like it was a high-school class with gossip circles. A good handful of them were also playing on their phones, adding to wait times and not paying attention. My baked potato was SO SALTY it was like taking a bite out of a salt block. There were green beans peices in our corn. All around negative experience. We were placed on the wait list at 7:38ish. We left the restaurant at 9:21ish. Putting us there for nearly 1hr and 45 minutes RIDICULOUS. We just wanted a nice kid free date night and got a nightmare. We didnt get anything taken off of our bill except for the free app coupon and the gift card we had brought with us. The bill was $70, after coupon and gift card it was dropped to $40. Outrageous for the service we received and the quality of the food. We could’ve made it better at our house or went to parkersburg and got better food and service. This was our first time visiting this location and we will not be back. Absolutely atrocious in every single way.

I order from this location 1-3 times per week due to work travel. This makes two weeks in a row that I’ve had absolutely awful food. Overcooked steaks, no dressing included with the salad, and rock hard cold fries. This is different for me as I usually have never had a bad experience with Texas Roadhouse. I don’t know what’s going on at this location in Marietta Ohio, or if it’s just me getting bad food on a Sunday night when these kids are closing the place now but I sure as hell don’t get a discount for the bad food that they’re dishing out. This has been rough.
