We started with the fresh rolls (honestly, impossible to say no to) — warm, soft, and paired with that cinnamon butter that could probably make anything taste good. For my main meal, I went with a ribeye and a loaded baked potato. The steak came out with a great sear, cooked just the way I asked, and full of flavor. The potato was loaded but not messy, generous enough to feel like a meal on its own. Someone in our group got the ribs, and they fell right off the bone — tender, saucy, and exactly what you expect from a place like this.
Service was friendly and upbeat. Our server checked in at the right times, kept drinks filled, and handled the busy dinner rush like it was nothing. Even with a full crowd, the food came out quicker than I expected.
Overall, Texas Roadhouse is one of those places where you know what you’re getting — hearty food, loud and fun atmosphere, and consistently good service. If you’re in the mood for a solid steak or ribs in a lively, down-to-earth setting, it’s a great pick. I’d go back without hesitation.
Wife ordered chicken. Started cutting it up and found it to still be raw in parts. The bit she did have was fantastic. Finding the raw chicken was too much though. We brought it to our servers attention and he immediately took care of it. She reordered chicken tenders. The manager brought it out but he never apologized for the problem. They took it off the check which we appreciated but at the very least there should have been an apology. We understand things happen and this won’t stop us from returning. Son had the rib plate which he loved and daughter had a burger. She said it was delicious!
Whole entire life !!!! Idk who cooked it but you cooked it to absolute perfection it was perfectly medium rare , JUICY , and even charred on the fat. This steak was so good I didn’t even touch the A1 I was full prepared to use nor did I even eat my fries I JUST WANTED THE STEAK . 29837473929182/10 I WILL be back for another I have no doubt about that . Give that cook a raise
My husband and I both ordered the 16oz ribeye (med rare), salads, broccoli and a baked potato. The steaks came out and looked ok–more fat than we care for on the edges but we looked beyond that…until we cut into them. These were 16oz ribeyes with at least 5-6oz of fat and gristle. They were terrible.
We flagged down Brandon (service manager) because our server only took our order and that was the last we ever saw of her until time for the bill, and even then we checked ourselves out at the tabletop ! He promised to rectify the problem. New steaks were delivered to our table by another server…and he asked us to cut them, to see if they were done to our liking–he was under the premise that they were undercooked–so we cut thru the middle and they appeared to be ok….until we cut the ends–raw and again so full of fat and mine was raw!
Brendan never came back, our server never returned–we paid over $60 for two ribeyes that were definitely NOT 16oz!
On the way out, Brendan was chatting up the waitstaff by the bakery, near the saddle. When he asked my husband “Was the second round better?”—and when my husband told him NO, his reply was “I dont know what’s going on back there”. But then he pointed to the box and told him to “throw it in the airfryer” (meaning my raw, fatty ribeye).
This used to be our favorite place to stop, but honestly, when four different ribeyes are THIS BAD and no customer service is shown, it makes us start to rethink where we spend our money. When servers are more interested in dancing instead of being there for customers, it makes people realize they arent in it for the food.
*editted to add, on our return trip to Florida, we stopped at the Lake City FL Texas Roadhouse and THAT is how a restaurant should be run. The servers were on point, the steaks much better!
Super bummed because we love Texas Roadhouse.
Atmosphere is very loud, even though the restaurant is not crowded.
I ordered a hamburger with fries. My husband ordered ribs and fries. It seems the ribs. The only thing that he could eat because he has allergies to dairy and eggs. We asked for a dairy allergy menu and we’re given a QR code to scan. The menu that it came up was a really no use because it doesn’t break down the items For the allergies. For example, a hamburger with cheese, you would expect to have dairy next to it as an allergen but if you remove that cheese will still have dairy you’re not sure because the bun isn’t listed with the ingredients. This dairy menu did not help.
I ordered my hamburger medium. It came out more toward the rare side as pictured. The food was warm at best. The french fries were crushed and broken in a lot of areas. The ribs did not have a lot of sauce on them and they were also just warm and not hot. I think this will be the last time we come to this restaurant.
Oh, and the restroom which I used before we left to wash my hands, looked uncapped. Somebody had not been in there in a while to clean up.
The only thing I didn’t like was that a couple of times a song came on and I guess someone in the staff liked it and the will suddenly raise the sound volume and not gradually once the song ended they will lower the volume again. Was too loud for the amount of people in the restaurant this was early dinner around 4:00 pm not rush hour.
