I travel from Atlanta to South Carolina often and today I made the trip to celebrate my grandmother 76th birthday. I personally absolutely love Texas Roadhouse but, today I lost the desire to ever attend another. I work in the food industry and in a very high profile environment. I am a bartender so I know alcohol laws and regulations. I frequent eating out and never have I ever been denied a to go cup for my non alcoholic beverage. After COVID and working in the service business I know that plastic/paperware is the safest way to go. I’ve previously had health issues that requires the use of to go items. When I was refused a to go cup because my mom had an alcoholic beverage really turned the experience from a good one to a very unsatisfactory experience. Then a few of the servers came over with no experience and I guess they didn’t want to service our table. When my mother asked about the desserts One of the servers said, This is Texas Roadhouse no one orders desserts and being in the food industry myself I know that was not a way to push and promote the products. So they sent Vanessa over and she changed the dynamic of the visit yet she still brought my mom cherries out in a to go cup while we had an alcoholic beverage on the table. Being the honest and upstanding citizens that we are we hurried and gave her the cup back so she wouldn’t get in trouble. I won’t let the experience ruin my day but, it did ruin my taste for Texas Roadhouse. Thanks Vanessa for being a good, experienced server and although you slipped up you still did an awesome job.
Well once our food came it was delicious but, my sister mushrooms had a piece of hair on it but, Vanessa fixed the issue immediately. The price wasn’t bad and I left a tip still because although the visit wasn’t good the food and Vanessa was very good.

Loved it! But who doesn’t? Ordered the ribs after a small 6 minute wait for a table. Wife got the salmon. Everything was excellent, of course. Service was awesome. Will be back. Thanks!!

Do not order steaks from here. I would like to know how two people in our party order 6 oz sirloins which were both asked to be cooked medium. When we receive the food, I received my steak, it was cooked rare as pictured. When the other person received their steak, it was cooked well done. I do not understand how you have two people order the exact same steaks, and they come out on the opposite sides of the spectrum. The mixed vegetables came out hard and undercooked. It’s frustrating when you spend your hard earned money, and they can’t even get your food even close to being right. They didn’t mess up the chicken tenders though…

I have visited this location numerous times without an issue but today ruined any future chance to return. My friend and I arrived around lunch today and everything seemed to be going well until we sat down to order. We placed our orders with the waitress and as we are waiting on our food, I see a roach crawl across the top of the booth that my friend was sitting in and run into the crack above her head. Our waitress had the manager speak with us and said we could move booths or either leave due to the circumstances. She said they have a company spray for bugs every two weeks and there is construction going on so it may be related to using a different exit. We just decided to move booths because we didn’t want to be rude to the staff since it was not their fault. We immediately regretted the decision after receiving the food. My friend had an overcooked rubbery steak and mine was almost impossible to chew through. The big glob of watery cheese on my two pieces of broccoli was just nasty. Our waitress was no where to be seen and at one point she sent another lady out to check on us. We had already waited an our for our food so we didn’t want to wait any longer by returning it. We paid for our meals but barely ate any of it. Looking back on today’s experience it was highly unsatisfactory.

Food is always amazing and so is the service. 3 stars because it is such an overwhelming atmosphere. Super loud music at the front, always a wait time, even when you go at 3pm. The space is incredibly crowded and the parking lot is always full. Yes, a lot of these are great things, however, we would come WAY more if there was more room/less wait and a quieter atmosphere.

Had a very nice dinner. A bit of a line but we did get seat fairly reasonable. Steak was very good…. cooked to my liking. My wife steak was just nice for her. The only thing I do not like …. is those dang kisko payment devices at the tables. I prefer the personal touch of having the check presented and the server processing the payment. Also wish that one day there is a Texas Roadhouse located closer to our home.

We used to come to this Texas Roadhouse and it used to have good consistency from visit to visit, but something major has changed this year.
While the service is fine, the food has declined in a major way primarily with the way steaks are cooked and cut. I ordered a ribeye and 80% of it seemed to be gristle and fat with very little actual steak between. Originally, I ordered it medium rare and it came out rare or close to raw and even then you could see that the cut was pretty bad with the steak practically falling apart without any structure.
Upon getting the same piece back cooked closer to medium rare, I wish I would have asked for another cut, but in trying to be a bit polite, I cut around all the sinew and fat to try and salvage what little edible steak there was. I was happy with my server, but it seems like the manager who brought the steak back to me would have noticed how badly cut the steak was. After getting the steak back i noticed it was extremely greasy and salty but powered through as much as I could before giving up.
I know I should have said something but I’ve gotten tired of having problems at this location. I will be avoiding Texas Roadhouse for the foreseeable future.

Nice place to watch Sunday afternoon NFL games. Bar is not very full at all and bar keep is attentive and knows how to mix a good drink. Rolls are always tasty. They offer affordable early dine deals Mon-Thurs.

I went here with my friend and daughter, to have dinner and to celebrate a belated birthday. The staff, I must say, are so sweet and professional. The manager on the floor that night, wished I remembered his name. Short, bearded face, Caucasian guy. Oh my gosh, the sweetest person I’ve met in forever. We ordered Ribeye steak, all 3 of us. They came out looking good, but my steak, even though it looked medium well as I asked for it, was so dry and tasteless, all I tasted was the little grilled burnt part…my friend and daughter enjoyed their’s, I don’t know, but that steak was either old or something…don’t know. I’ve always had good bone-in ribeye in Sumter, and honestly, Sumter must have a better, more experienced chef, because the steak there is heavenly. Kiss chef every time. The manager, did change the steak for me, even though I didn’t want them too…but like I said very sweet guy. My waitress was the best too, don’t remember her name, but she does look a bit Phillipino. Left her a nice tip, because even though I told it was fine, she still had her manager sent over to my table. I gave the atmosphere w stars, because while some parts of the restaurant seemed clean and nice, other parts were really a mess!! We had to ask to sit at a different table, because under the first table had spill cream cheese, receipt paper, napkins, just nasty… looked like the floor of an unkempt night club bathroom. I know it was busy, but still, hire someone to just do a quick cleanup of the floor after each guest leaves. Wish I could give a 5-star, but while the service was excellent, the food was not that great for me. I’ve had way better steak at Texas Roadhouse in Sumter, Florence, and other states. I’ll try there one more time to see if they get better, and I’ll update this review if necessary.

Always such a great experience coming here. Food was incredible and our server Noah was so amazing. Super fun and energetic and managed to put up with my family’s chaos easily. I was having a stressful day and Noah’s good energy genuinely made me feel better. Food was amazing, Texas Roadhouse steaks are the best ever, although you can’t really go wrong any with anything on their menu. Super fun and lovely trip with great food and and people. 10/10
