Tiny place, counter service. Walk up order a sandwich and go. The staff were friendly and it was kind of nice to see the sandwiches being made first. We each ordered one and they are huge. Two people could definitely split one, however we wanted to try a couple things. The place is cool and the sandwiches are great, however paying $50 for two and then having to eat standing up kind of sucks. But that’s what the people want I guess!

This place was a madhouse on a Saturday afternoon, but for very good reason. The setup is a bit disorientating at first, but makes sense; you order at the glass first, where they’re making the sandwiches, get a ticket to pay at the register, and then wait anywhere you can stand. Dining is standing room only as well, but we did choose to dine in.
The bread used for the sandwiches is an incredible focaccia, golden crisp but soft on the inside. The ingredients are fresh: tomato, basil, olive oil, pear, pesto, and mozzarella. The prosciutto is cut while you watch on an old fashioned crank driven deli slicer. The staff is working over time serving up dozens of sandwiches including their porchetta with horseradish.
We topped it off with some cannoli and Peligrino. Everyone was very polite (customers and staff), and the management did check to ensure you were enjoying the food if you decided to dine in.

Quite possibly the best damn sandwich that I’ve ever put in my mouth! Unctuous, tender roasted pork seasoned with rosemary, garlic, provolone, and pepper in between a wonderful slice of focaccia. Staff were so welcoming and hospitable. Standing room only, no seating, but worth every visit you can make.

Welcoming and friendly staff, charming little place. The hot sopressata was amazing, a wonderful combo of heat and sweetness with the most delicious Pecorino Toscano.. Save room and check the freezer for a Daydream brownie ice cream sandwich too. You won’t regret it.

I’ve been trying to get by to this place for a couple of weeks. Finally made it today… De porcini rubbed prime rib. Sandwich is everything I thought it would be… Amazing one of the best sandwiches in the city of Charleston. Then I find out my other favorite sandwich comes from your partner restaurant… I actually like this sandwich better than the steak at Fugazi. Thank you, Capt. Paul.

We got the Speck & Porchetta sandwiches, farro salad, a chocolate chip cannoli, & an olive oil muffin. Everything was really nice, the bread for the sandwiches is perfect. Note it is a counter, there isn’t any seating but there are spaces to stand and eat. Definitely would recommend!

I got 2x sandwiches, the Porchetta #2 and the Porcini #1. Both were great, but the Porchetta with that little spice kick is amazing with the fresh bread it’s on. Highly highly recommend stopping at this spot.

Cute hidden gem downtown. We’ve passed this place too many times to count and I’m so happy we finally planned a late lunch here. The decor inside is very pub like and adorable. The team was friendly and efficient with orders. We order the Italian to split. The ingredients were so fresh and the bread…delish! Definitely will return again.
