My wife and I went last week to this location and had a great experience. No complaints at all about the food or service. Their stuffed jalapeno appetizer is my favorite. Any reputable restaurant can occasionally have a time where you get a sub par server, a bad steak, or any number of other unfortunate circumstances. At that point it really comes down to how the management handles the situation. For example, I recently had a bad (tough & gristley) $30 bison steak at a top of the line steak house in Ottawa. The replacement steak was brought out after every one else at the table had finished eating. They were extremely busy. The second steak was perfect, and the manager stopped by, apologized and took it off the check. I would certainly go back there again.

Guys seriously this place is awesome now. Yes the food USE to suck but not anymore! Sauteed spinach…amazing….asparagus…perfectly seasoned….salmon…to die for. Warm bread and butter brings it all home. Plus Kyle the manager took care of me personally! And they have a gorgeous outdoor patio….perfect to enjoy a glass of wine or frosty draft brew

Host and waiter were incredible! I ordered the Woody’s Chicken with fries and a loaded baked potato, and it was probably the best meal I have had in my life. The chicken was tender and juicy; cooked to perfection. The fries were delicious; as was the baked potato. Over all experience: amazing.

I went there last night for an event with my spouse’s employer, so I didn’t pay a dime for the experience, thankfully. It was a group of about 20, so I can accept that the service wouldn’t quite match what you would get at a table for two… but it still shouldn’t take an hour to be served. My medium well ribeye finally came out, it was still mooing… barely even qualified as rare. Sent it back for a re-cook and it came out maybe medium. The steak had more fat & gristle than it did actual meat. The broccoli looked like it had been sitting out in the sun for about a week. The mashed potatoes were pretty good.
Thankfully, I was able to cross this place off my list without paying for it. It’s sad when you get a free steak dinner & still leave ticked off. Told the organizer, next time just use the budget to rent a pavillion with a grill at a local park and let me get some decent cuts from my butcher.

Went here after my graduation and had the filet Oscar, filet mignon with a crab cake on top which was served with a loaded baked potato and asparagus. The meat was VERY tender and really didn’t need any sauce! The drinks were ok, not strong enough for me but still ok. The waitress could’ve been more professional, she would interrupt our conversations to ask us something without saying “excuse me” or anything. I blame her age, 18, and the fact that the establishment was closing in an hour.

The cost of quality.
The cost of quality is not just one thing. It is a combination how much one pays, the amount served, the product that it sells, how it is served, how it is prepared, and providing excellent customer service.
I recently visited one of your establishments in Fairview, Tx. The visit has left a me with a very poor review on how this singular establishment takes care of its patrons. I will not go into demeaning details as it brings back poor memories of that visit. I will tell you that teaching how to cook, checking the food before it is taken to the table, and not ignoring the table after this issue is brought to the attention of the staff is not a good thing to do. I can however tell you that it does have a devistating effect for your buisiness. People today look at reviews that are posted on just about everything. This allows them a better choice, peace of mind, and assurance that their monies are being spent on the best items and services. My suggestion would be not to ignore your patrons as a singurlarity but to pay attention. Once the customer has had enough of poor quality and service from a company they will stop being a problem for that buisiness, because they and many others will stop going there. There is a positive side though, bare tables are easier serve, no food being cooked wont be wrong, managers will not have to say that they are to busy to notice what is going on with the 11 tables around them. How well a company addresses problems can make or break a company in this day. How would you handle it as a customer and as a manager in a company ?

Waited 45 minutes for our food. Watched while parties consisting of white consumer received their food with no wait at all even though the manager claimed they got “slammed.” My poor 2 yr old daughter scarfed down her grilled cheese in 3 minutes. On top of that, none of our food looked cooked. Everyhing was still bleeding like they just killed the cow and slapped it on our plates.

We go to Texas Land & Cattle for special occasions and they never disappoint. Steaks are cooked as requested and seafood dishes are great too. Relaxing atmosphere.

I’d heard horrible reviews about the restaurant but my husband really wanted to go out and stay close to home. We should have stayed home. Everything we ordered was cold when it came out and the service was bad. I hoped it would have been even an okay experience, I really tried to think positive about the place but to my disapointment it was exactly what everyone said it would be! I’m concerned about the lack of success with all the businesses at The Villages of Fairview!!!
